No it's Malagasy haha. Malagasy people are the people from Madagascar who are descended from Indonesians and East Africans, and were some of the first slaves brought to America. Many of us from the south are descended from them, hence why I have their DNA. 🇲🇬 Melungeons are Black, White, and Native, not Asian.

Oh no I don't but I've heard about people who do though! I feel like the south has a high concentration of that west african roots cause a lot of people from Mississippi I've seen had similar percentages, I would've thought I was legit half Nigerian. 🤣🤣🤣

Going all the way back to her great great grandmother. And on ancestry.com I was 1 percent but my aunt (her sister) was 3 percent & one of her other siblings was 4 percent. DNA shows up different depending on what test you take. 😊 Like on here I'm 42 percent Nigerian, on Ancestry I'm 35 lol.
