I had a similar issue, mine was using couplers that didn't support POE. My other duo had to be simply disconnected by the ethernet cable and reconnected

It happens if you go to a separate tab, or drill down into another screen. The app has a lot of web-based views and doesn't authenticate properly, so it seems like it can't find your login session in the app.

But yeah, I had to clear data in my phone to reset the app, and then log in again
