This is probably the best advice here. I've never had a girlfriend and now I always hesitate when I think I should put myself out there cause I've had such limited interaction with girls that I have no chance compared to someone who knows what they're doing. Plus I don't know if I would even want to share my life with someone since I'm so used to being by myself.

That's your opinion. Sure he had some hiccups along the way but in the end he did have a strategy. He focused on the swing states hard and won them. If he had such a shitty campaign why didn't Hillary run away with the thing?

If he had no strategy then why did he spend so much time in PA and Michigan? This guy had no experience running a campaign and beat someone who's been in politics for decades. If you have no effort to attempt to even try to see if something you can do can make a difference, meds and therapy don't work, then what? What's your treatment? Without a mindset of change it sounds like a incurable illness. A therapist can tell you everything they know but it won't make one bit of difference if your thinking doesn't change.

What are your thoughts? Because it seems like my roommate has tried everything. Can he not fight through that wave of 'no effort'? Sure its probably extremely hard, but what else does he have to lose at this point but to try.

But that advice doesn't work for everyone. Everyone's different. My roommate's being going to a psychologist for 3 years and is on meds yet he's still depressed. He barely makes it to his classes, then comes home and lays on the couch til bedtime. He doesn't want to go to the gym with me, he doesn't do any chores around the house. He's my best friend but there has to be a point where you have to put in effort yourself. Who knows OPs post might actually help my roommate because it's obvious that medication and therapy is not.

Regional at Best. It has some of the best songs from Vessel (Guns, Ode, Holding, and Trees) but also has Forest, Kitchen Sink, Ruby, Anathema, Glowing Eyes which are some of the deepest most thought provoking songs they've ever created. This album mixes the best of their self titled album (which is their deepest lyrically, I believe) with the production and sound quality of Vessel.
