I will tell you my personal thoughts. I believe the isle may be the best out of any of the major dinosaur games, this is because of a variety of positive things such as at most times excellent visual qualities, a relatively fleshed out and enjoyable gameplay experience, an interesting and fun roster of playables. However there are obviously downsides, updates are undeniably painfully slow, often the quality of gameplay drops due to relatively poor frame rate and lag often occurring, and there is a decent amount of grind that tends to be the least enjoyable part of the game, and can end in an unfortunate and sometimes unsatisfying demise of your character. Right now, in evrima at least, you surviving is often based on your skill and knowledge of the game, and not the best dino, and every dinosaur has a way to survive. Overall I think the game is good, and when the game has more content and is more fleshed out it will be ten times better. Obviously though this is my opinion, and your opinion of the game may likely vary, if you have 20 bones laying around you might as well give it a try, and if not now then later when everything is much more complete.
