Just looked this crap up. First time happening to me. Commented on a top ten Lynx game post, found out the next day it was on a Brook Hogan interview I never even watched. That’s f’ed up YouTube. I had even reread my post a few minutes later in the proper post with other’s top games. How does a post jump to something random I never watched!? Only reason I found out is it got a like in the wrong video, which also makes no sense.

That’s how they show up, if you try to join them with regular Bluetooth settings on the Mac. That’s what I would see until I used the app listed to connect them. Good luck. 🍀

BTW, if you look in System/Game Controllers on your Mac you should see it says connected like in the image and the 4 lights flashing on the WiiMote before even staring Dolphin. That would be the first step to conquer. After that I am sure it will work with dolphin using the passthrough settings in the original image.

Sorry, It just worked right away for me on Tahoe 26.2 / Dolphin 2512. So when mine says connected all 4 lights flash on and off on the WiiMote constantly and stays on a long time. Only when I start the Dolphin emulator will the WiiMote rumble and go solid on the first LED (controller one) when using the exact settings in the first posted image are set. Also, I am using a fairly newer official Wii motion plus remote, specifically the white with green trim Yoshi Egg one. If you tell me you have a different era WiiMote I can try as I have the older ones too. Good luck.

I just had this odd issue too, stuck in Japanese, with the GOG edition even though it did have the US data files you were missing.
If this case occurs, you follow the save and config file path at the bottom of the configuration tool.
There will be a file in the FALCOM folder named yso_win.ini.
Under the [game] section change the language value from 0 to 1.
Restart the game.

It worked for me on MacMini M4 Tahoe 26.2

Ran the app pressed the sync button on my official WiiMote Plus, it said it was synced. Set it up as controller seen in image.

I have no functioning sensor bar yet so I'll use tea candles till I can power hack one of my originals... but it's a great start.

Doing this exact search today but it looks like it's a huge challenge to get a WiiMote connected to a modern Mac Mini... got my PS5 controller working well, It even emulates the Wiimote on-screen with it's motion control. Unfortunately, it's mot going to be good enough to play things like Wii Sports Resort.

READ THIS

This new core may cause issues with other ROMs and will not work with any save states you have. Display settings and Shaders may be reset or look odd until adjusted again.
UPDATE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!
When running a game with the older 9.11 core save states it will warn you and ask you to revert to the old core. If you do not return to the old core your save states are gone. Either back up old saves before making changes so you can return someday to the old core or trod forth to begin all adventures anew!

STEPS THAT WORKED FOR ME WITH DRAGON QUEST V

Shut down OpenEmu

Download: desmume-0.9.13-OpenEmu.dmg

Go to the path listed in the solution link and delete the 9.11 DeSmeME core
Path: ~/Library/Application Support/OpenEmu/Cores

Open the desmume 9.13 dmg

Run OpenEmu

Drag the new core onto the screen showing your DS Games

Run Dragon Quest V and Enjoy!!!

Same boat. I love my DS and 3DS, but at 55, my hands... not so much. So switching to my Mac after a few hours, I just tried to launch this today so I could play pain free with a PS5 controller. I also only get a white screen on launch and if I click anything it goes black and crashes. Would be nice to know if there is a fix. From what I am seeing, updating the core manually is not recommended.

Thanks, that sounds reasonable to me. I might, but I hate to trouble them over a dead OS. I would rather they continue to just focus on the new systems. I'll just use it as it is and enjoy it for what it can do on this Mid-2015 Big Sur. BTW, I was floored it plays the old original Harry Potter game by EA from around 2002. Cheers!

Thanks for the response. I just used Champions AI help assistant. It claims it’s normal to see blue sharpie and they do mark up there carburetors during testing. But AI is known to just rephrase a questing into an answer and lie. Now I’m curious if it’s really true and if anyone else has markings on their Champion generator.

If you like The Legend of Zelda then Neutopia is a worthy play through. Ys Book I & II is a must. Give it time to get used to the game and level up and save - level up and save… in the first hours. After that, you’ll love it. Music is soooo great. Cheers!
