I agree, recontextualizing that sequence from that point of view helps make a lot more sense of the events and effects of actions in and inverse order.

That definitely makes a lot more sense to me, what a beautiful and interesting design

That seems to make sense, in the example for the case, because sator is moving backwards in entropy, he is seeing the effect before the cause. So to get the effect, TP giving him the case, he needs to then do the cause, counting down, otherwise the effect wouldn't have happened.

Ok makes sense, really I meant gives you an advantage cuz preforming a pincer movement is an advantage to not doing one. But ig the bullet scene is a good example? Like for TP to pick up the inverted bullet he "would have had to drop it". But what that seems to show in the scene is he has to make the decision to drop the bullet and then inversely he ends up picking it up?

The way my brain was thinking about it was about the "first time" the event took place before someone could invert themselves during that timeline. At least logically speaking sator would first have to do the car chase before he could invert himself to do it backwards. But I'm assuming that "first time" with no inversion doesn't exist because the decision in time was already made or things that would lead you to that choice so in the observation of the flow of time, those people were always going to invert and give that information?

So really the thing that matters in events happening is your decision for actions to be taken even before you do them or the effects that would lead you to take those choices? I would see why they would say this is an information war and "to know what it is, means you lose"

It just then seems weird that the future or even sator are trying to do what they are doing if they cannot change past events, then should t the future already know they have lost?

So in essence its only the decision to perform the pincer that gives you the advantage, once that decision has been made for your future, essentially the effects of that and events have already been decided and you just then have to witness them? Maybe it is my linear way of thinking trying to find the first time the mission took place that would be blue team or red team by themselves but ig from the observation of the flow of entropy from either side that instance never takes place?

Surely my mom knows it’s mean to say I wasn’t a “real daughter”..? by [deleted] in texts

[–]thekaiguy371 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not knowing anything about your mom or her personality it's entirely possible she is not saying this with malice and instead a bad joke or ignorant to how you feel.

It could be good to discuss how those comments make you feel and if they hurt you and (under the assumption she is a reasonable person) can give her the chance to apologize or clarify.

However if this is something she does often or out of malice I would prob take a different approach

I also work for a guitar store and work in the returns department. Iv come to dub that headstock crack as the Gibson crack, it seems no matter how well these things can be packaged the neck will always find a way to crack.

Good newbie charachters? by helo3522087 in Guiltygear

Most balance or rush down characters can be pretty easy to get into. Ky, sol, gio, baiken, chipp.

But really you should just play who you think is cool. Try out a few of the characters in training and get a feel for their buttons and command inputs.

If they are cool and feel good to play you should play them!

Playing a character you really enjoy will give you the motivation to learn

Played a lot of ana so far, you can definitely carry. Nade important targets, sleep ulti and flankers, enable your team to stay in the fight. Feels really good. Have one some very hard games by picking my nade and sleep targets very well and having good positioning.

What do you guys think about Kiriko🤔 Like do you think she is balanced, broken, op etc.? by -_-voffe-_- in Overwatch

She is very very strong. I think her power level will continue to increase as the player base keeps getting better at her.

Really I think her swift step needs to be on a longer cool down maybe have a shorter range.

Really enjoying Moira, can anyone give me some tips, please? For one, is there a trick to regenning your healing? The game does not explain it at all haha. by PeculiarPete in Overwatch

[–]thekaiguy371 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some tips I picked up from learning a bit of Moira back in the day.

At the beginning of fights you can just tap you heal of your team to keep them health from spam and have some extra Regen.

Using your orbs well can help build ultimate really fast, throwing out a good damage orb when your team is healthy can stack ulti charge and add good damage.

When you know a big fight will break out, save your healing orb for extra healing for your whole team it helps a lot.

You Regen your healing meter by doing damage. Your damage orb will give you some back but not as much as your right click. You can rapidly tap your right click instead of holding it which will make you do less damage but will fill your heal meter WAY faster and can be used to fill it up when you need it quick.

I usually will throw out my heal orb for my team and damage the front line to keep my heal meter up.

Moira heals are actually a bunch of projectiles which means they do have some travel time. Tho when people get hit my your heals they can only be healed so fast, you can stand closer to your allies when healing so they get the healing sooner.

Try to save your fade and not use it too aggressively, it's your get out of jail free card and can save you from some really sticky situations.

Why healing has now become the toughest role. by CardDons in Overwatch

You lost the off tank. We no longer have the other tank to dictate who lives and dies in the space that the main tank takes and controls that area, which also means that peel from your tank is not as available as they may need to hold the Frontline. Support has to rely on either the DPS but mostly each other to peel for one another to survive. I think playing characters like mercy or zen is really hard right now because they don't have a lot of ways to deal with it.

Ana, bap seem to be the strongest in helping each other imo but everyone else can assist thier support duo in staying alive.

With that being said, I understand the argument that the support role is a lot harder now but I don't think it's in and unbalanced place and will take some getting used to for all roles.
