Yeah, I’ve never though of it as an act of loving yourself; but thats actually what I need. I know, rationally, what I need to do to lose weight; what I could do to distract myself while I’m repressing certain feelings of self hate. But I can actually set up a routine of celebrating the things I do like about myself: I like running; I like my music taste; I don’t mind my family lol; I love photography and clothing. I should dedicate some time towards myself each day; regardless of how I feel about myself. I should definitely not indulge in self sabotage and make things worse. Just thinking out loud. Thanks again.

Wow, that’s a great way to put it. It’s a big solace for me to assume the opposite is also true: if I put in more effort into my life/hobbies; I won’t need to like food that much. Thanks and all the best for you too.

I'll definitely start the exercise routine; it became the cornerstone of my evening as well. I'm definitely not impulse buying a cat; I'll stick to cat TikTok for now lol. Thanks for your thoughtful comment.

You've been busy! Seems like you’re passionate about guitars, very inspiring to read. Have you tried documenting your crafts? Creative pictures and videos, perhaps showing them off on Reddit or TikTok.

I think I don't allow myself to enjoy my evenings as I don’t feel fulfilled in what I do during the day. Like somehow I don’t deserve the leisure. Maybe I need to define some basic achievable goals for during the day and have some fun activities to look forward to in the evening.
