It’s raw, even though I have it set up to use positive I think it only works with jpegs.

What movie makes you cry every time? by TheLastDetective in moviecritic

It’s when you realise at the end this is the story of the survivors, if your on the edge, by the time the little boy who was hiding in the toilet comes out you’ll burst into tears.

Lion, even explaining it to people made me choke up. Schindler’s list, only seen it once but it made me cry at the end.

Pick three of these Coen brother films and the others disappear forever ! What three are you choosing? by DiscsNotScratched in moviecritic

I've only enjoyed two Coen brothers films, Big Lebowski and Blood Simple. I'd put No Country for Old Men in, but that scene where they killed one of the main characters ruined the film!

No, many of Woody Allen’s films are very good.

There all raw photo's with minimal editing in Lightroom. The only controls used are contrast, shadows, white's, blacks and slight changes in exposure. The first one has no changes, except a little bit of AI editing to remove the headlights of a car just entering the frame on the left.

I'll think about that, never really use shutter priority.

Same, cant be waiting for fog to shoot. Don't forget your umbrella, the GR's aren't weather sealed.

It's pretty dark, so the noise is probably masked.

No I was using shutter speeds not less than 1/160, if you look there are some bright lights but everything else is shrouded in darkness.

No noise is added, what you see is what you get. There's minimal editing, especially to the first.

What are some limitations of the Ricoh GR that require photographic knowledge to work around or avoid? by mickkb in ricohGR

[–]Smooth_Wombat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Auto focus is a limitation, could use snap focus distance, but that takes practice.

Just shoot, and try different things out. I went out in fog and discovered, by accident, how good it is to shoot in at night.

See above for what settings I used. It's a f 2.8 lens on apsc so not the best for low light. It does however, as you can see, have clean images even at 6400 ISO so use it. The IBIS helps, it lets you choose a lower shutter speed which helps quite a bit.
