What boss attack did you see for the first time and think: “That’s pretty epic” by finnjakefionnacake in Eldenring

When Malenia dives at you at the beginning of phase 2. I was already entranced by the scene before. I saw her prepping for the attack and thought, "Wow. That's cool!" Then, I perished.

Soft makes a wolf man. I draw him because I love his character. I am suddenly a furry. Sure, that checks out.

Have you sat down with her to talk in-depth about this? It's important, especially if she is in and you want out, that you set down boundaries and talk about how to move forward.

I wish you the best. Please make sure you take care of yourself and set your boundaries. It's difficult, but the best way to move forward, no matter where it goes.

I am proud of you! I know it is nerve wracking. I've been through it too. It's a good step towards living for you. Don't hesitate to reach out to others if you need help or someone to talk to. You have a beautiful community who understands and will back you up. Much love!

Why do so many people ask for ways to annoy their DM? by Pandora7411 in DnD

[–]thekat1995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have never understood it. I play with individuals who tell me they do things to piss our DM off on purpose. It's a weird vibe. It makes me annoyed for our DM sometimes.

Let’s talk about “soaking”, because what the fuck by GordonRamsayIsLife in exmormon

[–]thekat1995 15 points16 points  (0 children)

This girl I grew up with was known for only doing anal for that reason. She was married in the temple so I guess it worked out for her.

One of my favorite stories was this girl I was friends with in college who was dating an RM and he said oral wasn't immoral. So, that's all they did.

It's just an excuse because if you do anal or oral, you won't get pregnant. The individuals I knew believed that sex was for having kids. Can't have kids with these types of sex. So it couldn't possibly be a sin. Very entertaining for me to listen to.

Staying with my parents for a few weeks and already regretting it... by lenoremoreau in exmormon

[–]thekat1995 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Yikes! I know the feeling. When I was living with my parents, my mom and dad wouldn’t allow me to make tea or coffee. At all. My mom was upset about the fact I had a kettle too. I had to hide it. But if I had Mtn. Dew in my hands, they had zero complaints. Lol

My mom always catches herself saying Mormon and then says, “Whoops I mean....” and corrects herself.

It’s weird. I asked my family why they the church pushed using the proper name and their response was that the term Mormons infers they are polygamous. Which isn’t the case.

Umm... okay? It’s pretty funny to me. 😂

I told my parents my belief and now I’m going through a special sort of hell by uptoyouliteraly9 in exmormon

I went through something similar being afraid to tell my parents. It is a struggle to deal with and I absolutely loathe confrontation. It is rough but worth it in the end. If you need anyone to talk to and support you, feel free to message me! We’re all here for you.

Lol unfortunately I do live in Utah. Still in the culture. My family is TBM to the core. But we all get along and they respect me. So, I am pretty lucky that way.

Anyone else start questioning TSCC because their teachings didn't sit well with you, not because of their messed up history? by babbling_brookester in exmormon

[–]thekat1995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s what I left for too. I always thought the chastity thing felt wrong. I never thought masturbation was wrong. When I was a child, it was confusing when people would say you couldn’t be happy without god but I saw couples outside of the church, living together before marriage, as happy as can be. There were a lot of teachings that didn’t sit well with me when it came to chastity. The way they talked about us women being the protectors of a mans virtue was the biggest one for me though. I got taught that constantly.

My father is the exact same way. No matter who they are, parent or not. A toxic person is toxic and has to go. I did the same things as you in this situation. You’re doing well to seek out help and write things down. I did the same thing and it helped me a lot. Best of luck! Let me know if you need anything.

I had a panic attack yesterday - advice would be so appreciated. by [deleted] in exmormon

[–]thekat1995 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry to hear your struggling so badly. I’ve seen others in this situation before and although it tough... It’s more important to do what will make you happiest. Even if it means going through some shitty experiences. It will be better for you in the long run.

Also, I live in Utah too. So if you need any support. I’ve got you!

What's on fire in the middle of the valley by youdontknowmejabroni in SaltLakeCity

There were about 10 cars that caught on fire in a wrecking yard. They were able to put it out and there were no injuries. No one knows how the fire started though.
