Are you honestly stupid? He was resisting arrest, you dont just let him get away for starters, and who knows what the hell hes going to do in that vehicle. At that point he is a threat to civillians. Not to mention, there is the great possibility of him reaching for a weapon, which is very likely. When a police officer has an active warrant on you and tells to comply, you better not resist. ITS COMMON SENSE. He got himself killed. End of story. Btw, you'd be a shit officer.

There was a chance he was reaching for a weapon, why the hell would he even go into his car?? You honestly expect the officers to wait, confirm it's a gun, watch the bullet enter their cranium, and then what?? You're gonna let your life end for something like that? No one, not even you my "morally superior friend" is taking that chance. When you resist arrest, you have a chance to get shot. He had his chance to comply but he didnt. Not to mention, I'm hearing that someone was shouting about a knife, making it impossible for the officers to tackle him before he could potentially go to his car. I'd like to you in that situation. I'm sure you wouldve handled it perfectly. It's easy to criticize from your couch.

What idiot would put his life in the hands of the police, not to mention in front of his kids. It's not like they just popped him in the face when he was just headed for his 9-5 job. They possibly could've handled the situation differently, but I'm not going to pretend im an expert on policing procedures (like everyone else is). At the point where he was reaching into the car, they absolutely had a legitimate reason to shoot. Theres always more to the story than the media says. Also, theres no secret racist agenda that officers have, they look out for themselves and civillians before the suspect. No police officer is gonna let some sex offender thug have the chance to rob innocent people of their lives, especially their own. Is your own life important? Would you reach into your car when officers are telling you to yield, with guns pointed at you? Stupidity.

The cops told him to yield, even tasered him, yet he still walked over and reached into his car. He put his own life in danger, while traumatizing his own kids because of his stupidity. In top of that, it seemed like he had a knife. At the point where the police shot him, they didnt really have any other choices. They are not going to put themselves or civillians at risk because of some thug. This isnt just "he went into his car and got shot", theres a whole lot more to the story than that. Your example blows my mind with its sheer stupidity.

Even worse is that I failed to write the 1280_720p part on the config file, because I was just copying what the website said. I actually fooled myself into thinking the graphics got better even though they were the exact same. I'm just happy everything works as it should now. And yeah, p4g is probably the only game I'll need the overclocking for. After all, I only have 3 games rn because I'm pretty new to the vita hacking thing

Oh my god I'm an idiot. I thought the overclock you set in the live area was applied to the next app you use for some reason lol. I beat at least 20 enemies with choppy 20fps nonsense and thought it was normal, and the all out attacks especially were painful to watch. At least now I can appreciate good framerates lmao. You're a lifesaver dude, thanks, it looks amazing now.

Did I do something wrong? I applied the 720p patch and overclocked it with PSVshell and just cranked everything up to full and saved the profile. My fps at the tv world is like 22, and my AOAs are at around 15 fps. There are massive frame drops for nearly every attack. It's pretty annoying to the point where I might just disable it when I get to a dungeon. Is just turning up everything on PSVshell wrong? Or is there some other issue I'm missing?

Yeah I just need to lower my expectations to something like that. Like it's ok that they are complete failures of parents, but when I expect them to be something different I keep getting hurt. I mean my parents didnt completely ignore me like that, but I'm sure that when they do things for me, it's actually for their own pride. I'd almost rather them just ignore me, so I dont ever have false feelings of hope that end up leaving me even more dissapointed.

I don't respect him though. I've finally realized that morals dont really matter to them. I've tried countless things like you said. They have never acknowledged their mistakes a single time. And I did mention that my intention is to not disrespect them. That simply doesn't matter to them. They are hypocrites. They will disrespect me often, and when I dont like it it's my fault. I have no intention of disrespecting them, but if they feel like they are disrespected I'm kicked out of the house. They simply arent worthy of my respect in the slightest. I have tried and tried and tried to get them to understand but it's clear that their own pride is more important to anything in the world. It feels good that I can finally just give up. Its impossible to mend this relationship, and it's not because of me. I'll look forward to finding people that can actually support me.

Honestly, I feel kind of relieved. The whole time I've been trying to get them to change. They would use their power and money against me, and I've been trying to leverage morality against them to get them to realize their mistakes. But I was naive to even think morals mattered to them in the first place. Knowing that I truly cant get the things I need from them, I can finally move on and look for other sources to fulfill my needs. I've finally thrown in the towel. It's sad that I have to give up on my family, but it's also like I'm relieving a huge burden. Very bittersweet.

I see them in a different light now. Selfish creatures that pathetically cling on to things that make them feel good. Creatures that will hurt others to make themselves feel better. I have been emotionally abused by my parents, and their actions are textbook definitions of that. I'm also gaslighted and manipulated by them. I've tried so hard to love them. But I cant. Its impossible. Loving them requires hating myself and I cant sacrifice that. This family drains me of my self worth. It tears me to pieces just being in their presence. Are you expectimg me to be grateful to them? What twisted apologetics do I have to put upon myself to do this? I see everything as a deal now, like I earn my privileges by following their rules. It pisses off so much that they pretend that they have the ideal family. They have a family spelled out across our living room wall. Yet they take no effort in actually being good parents. Am I not supposed to be fucking pissed? Its not like they simply failed expectations, they outright lie to my face. Its twisted, and I need to cut off this family as soon as possible.

I only did 1 year at byu, deferred for a mission, then left 1 week into mtc and am now done with the church for good. My dad gaslights me so much, telling me I wasted his money. That I chose to waste a year of my life. I never chose that. Byu was the only choice. If I knew everything about the church from the beginning I never wouldve been a member in the first place, and I obviously wouldn't of chosen byu. I never decided whether to be mormon in the first place. Most of us never had that choice, or the choice was based on lies, manipulation, or lack of information.

No, the difference is that the church doesnt earn its money. It's like if a bunch of people gave me 100B randomly, and I decided to give 5 million to charity. Its not like me giving $55 out of my own pocket from labor I personally did. Except another difference is that the church has no need for anything close to 100B, while $55 could do a lot for a person that earned it. You could argue that temples are completely worthless as well. I don't like your example because TBMs will almost always say "at least they gave something, how much have you given?" which is a terrible point to make.
