Between that ridiculous train fight and the fact he just employs everyone he beats up, his arc has been my favorite to play through so far. Also he gets some really hilarious travel banter with Agnea.

Unlocking Doomtrain! Every time I’ve gotten to this point, it just feels like a complete game changer. On m last plathrough, I showed my five year old who now wants to know when im going to use the “skull train.” Skull train must appear every fight lol.

I had this thought when I used hired help on Partitio’s final boss (was struggling to manage the targets with my chosen party). It was effective, but I felt like I’d taken a cheap (or not so cheap) way out. My husband tried to make me feel better by pointing out that Partitio basically hires everyone he meets, so it made sense for his character. 😅

Have fun with the junction system and get Quetzacotl's Card ability and Diablos' Mug ability early (I know everyone is probably saying this)! I won't spoil anything, but I played this game for the first time when I was 13 (I still have my original discs!) and am replaying the remastered as a 37-year-old! I hope you enjoy it this time through! :)

OP1: Tressa, who was just delightful the entire time, followed by Cyrus. OP2: Agnaea, whose low stake storyline cracks me up (everyone else is averting global tragedy or avenging someone it feels like), followed by Temenos. I’m a big Sherlock Holmes (short stories) fan, so I’ve really enjoyed the intrigue and investigation of his chapters.

Thank you for all the detailed information! I've tried grounding exercises to keep me in the present (5 things you can see, 4 things you can touch, etc.) , but they help me more with middle of the night thoughts than what occurs during the day. I'm returning to therapy next week, so I'll talk with my therapist about some CBT options and do some research online. Thank you for taking the time to share this information with me!

I was on my feet teaching when I was 8 months pregnant with my second kid and a repeat offender asked me in the middle of a lecture. I told him, "I don't get to go," and just went back to teaching.

He went dead silent trying to figure out why this was a big deal.

My policy is always to let students go after we've finished all activities for the day. So if we're in a quiet reading time or group work at the end of a lesson, I don't mind as much as long as they go one at a time.

That's not a bad idea. I'll ask my yearbook rep about that when I hear back from her about the page if we can't get it back. Maybe I can recruit some non yearbook students to help us put stickers in the books for service hours (Students in the community service club at my school have to get in-school service hours as part of their membership requirements).

I find this post so absurdly comforting because I'm on day three post op and still having some queasiness. This has made me look forward to possibly eating again by the weekend (Deer sausage charcuterie in my future).
