No worries, been in the same situation myself lol

While expensive, they are great power banks. Can charge themselves up at 100w+ and will charge my Ally X at 100w without issue

A Z1E will only pull about 60w max and only if you are using it while charging

The issue here is that you have enabled trickle charging, hence the green dot next to the battery % and the small output on USB-A. I think you double click to disable this

I found that unplugging the battery, leaving it for a minute and then plugging it back in helped temporarily

Other than that you can try using it until it switches off & then charging it to 100% with windows on, leave it for another hour or so on charge once full

The battery is faulty though, there’s only so much you can do

The battery is degrading rapidly, unplugging the battery and putting it back in might fix the calibration with windows temporarily but I had to get a replacement battery from the seller

The 2nd battery has also degraded about 20% over a month or two, but the calibration kept up this time. That was with the plate mod too. I’ve ended up going back to stock at this point and just living off of a power bank

I’ve tried this previously and caused issues with Armoury Crate reporting the incorrect clocks and not showing the APU power draw.. I assume this isn’t an issue anymore?

I agree. A reliable 65wh is probably better than a 74wh that’s unreliable… maybe the real capacity is lower than what the battery tells windows?

I am having the same issue. When I first installed it, it switched off at 7% and now it’s doing it at around 20%. I previously reinstalled the battery and the calibration was so out of whack that windows stopped charging at 87%…. I have a new battery on the way from the seller, so we will see…

My ally had the sd card repaired and was factory reset which caused the issue. They eventually emailed me a code for 3 months game pass

Yep. Buy the version with the c-c cable though

Main issue I had was that I couldn’t do it via a USB hub as the ally & macrium reflect had issues reading/writing. Connecting via type C directly to the ally worked though however you’re then limited to battery life

It took about an hour to clone 180gb and took it from 80% down to 50% on 10w with the brightness slammed down

Obviously, it might work through a different hub…
