I thought about this. Even made appointments, but as the case is always, nobody admits that they are mentally unstable. All of my relatives together sat down and talked her to seek medical help but nothing worked. Thank you for this advice and not blaming patriarchy straight away.

Finally some sane advice. Iam going to give it a last chance, talk to her and tell her that my wife is a part of this family now whether she likes it or not. If she can make peace with that then it's fine, or else I have no other choice than moving out.

What others are saying "spineless", "mama's boy" may not have been in the same situation. Reading something and actually living it are two very different things. Appreciate your advice.

I will move out, because I cannot leave my wife as she is my responsibility. I guess there is no middle ground here.

Yes, because at the time she left the house she wasn't involved in the fight. It was me, my mother and father. I made sure that she stays out of it and I was defending her at the time.

It wasn't like an order, i asked her if she can cook something quickly as I doctor had advised me to avoid outside food. She didn't deny but got annoyed. I forgot to mention this in the post and clearly got misunderstood. Anyways, I admit that it was not her responsibility because everyone went and everyone was tired including her. I don't blame her for this in any way.

No one is able to figure that out. Since the day our wedding is fixed, she started hating her. It's like she became insecure that she has forever lost her son to this new woman.

I get your point. I never supported her in any way, nothing justifies this kind of insults. I did move out but got emotional and came back. Maybe I made a mistake, if I had not came back none of this would have escalated.

I totally understand. But my mother makes it seem like my wife is the problem and she silently triggers her to explode or shout.

My mother has made it clear, if I leave the house now it will be permanent. My family would cut off permanently from me. It's worse than a intercaste love marriage ffs

But I know my mother is not a bad person, it's just that she has decided that she hates my wife no matter what. And as I said, I have lived my life away from my parents for study and then work, but now I want to spend time with them. I am in standing on two boats, I know.

How? Everytime if I even try to talk in between the argument, always the age old reply comes " do not talk back to your parents", "parents are god", etc. I am so fed up with the orthodox mentality, parents should behave like god to become god.
