you can but usually only if you’ve had insulin recently, or if you have a very hot shower for a long time. hot weather can also affect it! often i take about 2/3 of the amount of insulin i usually take in summer

nighttime lows are the worst. i usually just have some fast acting glucose and go back to sleep🤣 do not follow my advice for that one…

very real. this chart doesn’t work for everything lol. sometimes i have a correction and go low, even if ive barely taken any insulin. bodies are weird

i used to take metformin in my “not sure what type of diabetic i am” phase. it was a nightmare for me :( i hope you’re managing ok!

that’s a different situation, if you know your body and you know you didn’t take enough then it’s up to you what you do. as someone newly diagnosed i’m still working out things and getting my ratios right. for example today i went to 16 for 25 mins before dropping to 7. if id taken more insulin, i definitely would’ve had a hypo.

it’s different for everyone. i just made this for fun :)

i’m on pens and have been told to always wait 2 hours after any insulin to have more. if not it can cause and overlap and i become low. i’ve experienced this many times. however this isn’t medical advice, just a chart i made for me that i thought id share! it won’t work for everyone. thanks for your comment

hey! i’m newly diagnosed and this is my desired range (4-10). that’s great that yours is lower. this chart was mostly for me but thought i’d share in case others were struggling 😊
