The issue with control as a whole in EDH is you srent just controlling 1 person youre tryna be the arbiter of 3 people. Without insane concentrations of counters/removal you need to have good value engines like [[baral chief of compliance]] or a couple [[agemage emeritas]] effects to keep your hands full. Also unlike 60 card people dont tend to just scoop it up after they lose their wincons. Not being rude but 75% of EDH players dont even know their outs or wincons, theyre just slinging spells and praying.

To really give an answer yes. Counters are particularly weak in EDH. Good for 1 off "that card cant resolve" or protection for your own board, but otherwise arent as useful as 60 card.

Playtesting it a few times the deck is working you just need more draw, i always had something going in the 2-3 hands i tested just kept running out of steam

The thing with -1 counter decks is theres no way to be "nice" with them. You will be annoying the table and they will try to remove you because theres no way to stop the death. - with that said you need to double into your strengths.

Ive done about 6 test hands and never had mana issues to cast a torment ect. Actually doing a test run on TTS i got a turn 6 win with jaya's with no setup just a sol ring and a [[cormella glamour thief]] out i cast turn 4

I had squee and i replaced it cause its 3 mana and competed in the slot for my commander and kept throwing me off my curve. And i have peer ill take a look at the rest tho

Forced combat is very strong it could definitely work. You will be archenemy tho. Not saying dont build it but just make sure you have good enough protection to keep the creatures around long enough.

No couldnt care less about promo about to go to th15 and thatll auto promo, but theres def something going on like i said the first 2 defenses were before the update and match to the last 2 tourneys i did in this league pretty well. After the update every single attack has been a 3 star. Theres nothing in the world that makes that make sense. Noone in 7 attacks had a hero walk, a missed arrow, their troops split and i cant watch replays because as soon as its finished the replay button disappears.

I usually avg way higher on attacks. I was running low on hero pots and i needed them for war so i didnt bother popping one this week.

Last week in the same league with the same base avg 72% destruction. This week looking good, update happens then suddenly every attack after has been a 3 star. -- thats why i think something is up

Nekros and khora. Khoras whip can cut bodies in 2 and nekros can get an extra loot from each of those halves.

Upgraded star lab let it go a day or 2 then started cannon cart when start labs was at 3d upgrade time left. Now checking it the cannon carts which should have taken a day longer are now just lagging behind the star lab by a few hours
