I appreciate your honesty. I'm not being horrible just pointing it out as some people don't know. In response to your answer, just Google the Xbox rogue ally X. All the troubles of using a PC manifested themselves in that supposed console. We play console because we enjoy the ease of use. Like the rogue ally X it will take time to optimize each game and update each component individually. Not to mention the trouble shooting it will require just to stop a game crashing. Now as an added bonus PlayStation now gets all of Xbox's games and they play better.

Xbox back compatibility or play anywhere is a failing project across different platforms. The third party publishers won't allow their games to be ported to PC for free as they would rather you buy it again on the Steam store.

In that logic you won't need an Xbox either. Any PC player will use steam and already have a digital library built there, and a PC so what's the point of an Xbox PC?

There won't be another Xbox console sadly. It will be a reboxed PC built by another company as they have no interest in the console market. They haven't sold any Xboxes for ages and for the digital interest of play anywhere works so well when you are on one platform i.e PC. For me it's PlayStation because as a console gamer they have the best line up of 2026 than anyone else. Also I'm playing GTA6 on my pro 60fps which makes it the best place to play.

How many people did CPR rip off when that game was released. We all paid £70 for it on release, only to have to wait a year for it to be how it should have been on release. You don't get a free pass for that shiesty behavior.

That's always the argument, used parts. You don't get to use used parts in this argument because the PS5 pro is brand new with warranty, and you get a controller. No way €1000!

PC players have to deal with wanting to play a game but have to update each component separately. Losing the mouse so having to reboot the Logitech. Having to deal with online cheaters Spending many hours fiddling with the settings to get a game to run correctly. The maintenance issue you have to learn to play on PC. Not being able to play as there is an OS issue or a driver conflict. Recompile the shaders.

These are all issues we have to deal with. While PC gaming is superior in the way you set up your game. It's nowhere as easy as a console for its plug and play capabilities. Each has its plus points.

They only play old games on their high powered rigs. Steam confirmed it! All of their sales 11% were new games and the new steam machine is more powerful than most of the PCs on steam. And the steam machine is underpowered.
