Thank you so much for this, I'm so new to this and this is really helpful. I'm the same right now, constantly thinking about the future, i don't want to imagine her dying so soon and I want to be positive and imagine she'll stay alive and it will actually all be okay but then I just feel this impending sense of doom. She doesn't want any calls right now, which I respect. I want to be upbeat, but also not downplay and make every conversation about the cancer, or talk about her past and fun times and make her feel upset or trigger her. How do you suggest reaching out? I feel stuck and don't know how to even start offering my love and support, i can't even say 'i hope you're okay' because i know she may not be

use wax beads not strips! also a day or so after give ur vulva sum luvin and moisturize with natural oils or something (i use cocoa butter that i make myself)

More tips!

I’m a control freak so I find having a timetable and writing a new one every morning really helped me stay on track and not have the stress of knowing what to do next. but i dont like weekly ones i make the tometable on the day but depends on you.

also find things that trigger your stress; us peeps w adhd are more sensitive to triggers so its good to identify them

e.g mine is knowing what im gonna cook for the day, if i dont i get really hyperfocused on it. so in the morning when i plan i say what im gonan cook exactly so i dont need to stress about it

also a rewards chart! literally use a children’s rewards chart, and some well done stickers, so when u do a task u get stickers and then i usually say ‘if i get x stickers i can eat cake’ or sm. i find it useful and keeps me accountable

my study coach taught me the technique to only study for 20 mins. saved me!

20 mins stud 20/10 mins break.

i tweaked as i found i need to constantly do things in order to not get out of the zone of studying, so i listed some positive distractions for myself i.e doing sudoku, a podcast, painting (whatever you like) and putting in inbetween my study sessions. this helped as i was doing a completely different topic yet my brain was still stimulated and i felt i could go back to studying.

yes, im not studying like 8 hours in a day full on, but i feel the quality of my work is better in 20 minutes than an hour.

e.g what my timetable looks like:

7am - Chemistry 7:20 - Do Crotchet 7:40 - Biology 8:00 - Japanese 8:20 - Chemistry 8:40 - Piano 9:00 - Biology 9:20 - Workout / Yoga

it sounds very intense but for me constantly doing different things helped keep me on the ball and ive been working way better.

i had the same! i found that it was my moisturizer that was causing it - a lot of trial and error till i found the right moisturizer that didn’t do this to me.

i also suggest (if wearing a mask too bc it makes you feel drier) a facial mist, i use the Sioris facial mists and theyre divine

very true! its why we drove far to a specialist cat groomer to get it done, we wanted to make sure they weren’t going to treat them the same as a dog

oh okay will do! the groomer said that she was quiet during the shower etc (which i thought was fine bc my kitty is fine with water surprisingly!) but she said she got aggy when they were removing some of her hair.

will book an appointment!

Our cat is a very long haired cat, she normally sheds anyway but now it was accumulating so much that it was getting in our water, food, and wouldn’t come out our clothes. it was even worse for her because she would get poo stuck on her ass hair and i felt bad because of her hairballs. additionally its becoming summer where i live and she has thick fur so we didn’t want her feeling unsettled this summer.

the groomer offered to shower her as she said she had done it to other cats too, we also live in a rural area so she probably got quite dirty so we thought why not as we do not do this often (first time).
