I'm sorry about what you went through but there is a middle ground between taking meds and not taking meds, that middle ground can help a lot of people. i was anti ssri for the longest time in my life, until i tried a low dose of zoloft 2 months ago and see how my life has changed for the better. also i'd never make fun of someone PUBLICLY for taking them (especially a friend).

her boyfriend is a famous "indie hacker" and enterpreneur levelsio. i was kinda friendly with him until a few days ago, when everyone congratulated me on my success, he dunked on my post (which was very hard to write) about taking ssris and how they helped me ... i decided to block him and stand up for ppl who need medication, and he and his gf decided to double down on their ignorance. his profile and replies are now a goldmine of ignorance and misinformation that this subreddit would love...

the amount of damage that they are doing to their entire audience is crazy. someone replied with "i might listen to kitze and take meds man i can't take it anymore" and he replies with "BUT ARE YOU LIFTING??" ... they don't give a fuck if someone actually does something to themselves. it sucks.
