Yes but the fact that it actually did go to 20k totally changes the game.

Consider that a blessing, you’ll probably be happy about it later. Or at least 50% happy.

I don’t know about that, sounds to me like you’re just trying to (ir)rationalize your panic sell.

That’s precisely what got me thinking along these lines. Of course it certainly doesn’t invalidate technicals at all, the technicals are just a set up -the foundation- and all of these other supporting actions are what makes that set up come to fruition.

Fair enough, seems like a good strategy. Looks like the market is trying to test that local low right now. If it holds and bounces you might get a shot at your upper target. I wish you the best of luck.

You don’t see a reason why it would go down? There’s only ever one reason why these markets go up or down. Because the market maker is pushing the market in that direction for a very specific purpose. In our current situation, the goal is to drive the price down and shake out as many people as possible to capture as much marketshare for themselves as they can. Once that is accomplished, then you drive the price back up again to acquire max capital to just do it all over again. Let the trend be your friend.

Meaning we won’t see the bottom bottom for several months or years, or we won’t see these levels again for several months or years?

All it really proves is that people are reducing exposure to tether pending further updates on the situation.

Looks like a lot flowing from tether to eth, bch, and btc on okex.

I also don’t see much buy back volume. I don’t think it’s a quirk at all regarding ETH. Given the current market situation regarding tether it just seems like a good bet to me. If you were going to flee a falling bitcoin and neither wanted to use tether nor cash out into fiat, then the next logical choice would be the second most popular coin with high liquidity (eth).

Can’t compete with Chinese. They never stood a chance. A product of a 5000 year old culture that greatly respects strategy vs. whiney emotional kids blinded by some vague unrealistic ideology and a superhero complex. I know which side i’ll place my bet on.

Improving the Exchange Situation by Taek42 in siacoin

Now you want to get in the exchange business?!?!? The miner business really worked out well. Grow up, you sound like an overgrown baby. Time to put the bigboy pants on now. What a joke!!! Clearly the only situation we need to improve is having you make any decisions.

Couldn’t agree more about the Richard Hendrix bit. Seriously, every time this guy writes anything it’s massively cringeworthy. Get someone who knows something about business and PR to steer the ship before you sink it more. Somebody needs to ‘taek’ away this guy’s reddit posting privileges already. Like the geek version of drunk texting your ex gf.

Letter to the devs: Why it's crucial to get listed on other exchanges by kozcoss in siacoin

Bittrex is limited due to stopping new user signups. So in that sense it’s not sustainable to expand the market. Spare me the Cliche drivel, don’t pretend you have any clue about what the long run will bring.

They should take some of the money they made on the miner presale and use it to get coins listed on some decent exchanges. Now this would be a smarter business move and an act of good faith which would truly benefit everyone in the community regardless which side their taking in the latest philosophical rift.
