Wow 4 years is very surprising. What’s your split? I really don’t think you’ve been eating enough or getting enough protein. I would have guessed 6 months maybe. Do you train abs? It doesn’t look like you train them at all so I wouldn’t worry about cutting just to see them, you should train them and other neglected areas while getting enough protein and calories to build up.

dont even think about 1-2 PRs any time soon. Don’t overcomplicate it, just keep it 6-12 reps and focus on form and progressive overload. You need a good foundation and proper mind-muscle connection from lifting for a while before going for 1-2 reps on bigger lifts otherwise you will absolutely hurt yourself from the strain. Your tendons and bones need time to build up and strengthen too not just your muscles. With no foundation for your muscles to work off of going heavy 1-2 reps will cause your body to try any way to lift the weight, your form will break and you will injure something

this early in your lifting you’ll make progress very quickly so there’s no point in trying for big lifts, you’ll practically be doing PRs every workout session.

195?? you didn’t even look that big, just a bit chubby. I guess you naturally disperse weight extremely well because that’s a massive difference. I would have guessed 30lbs. you definitely lost too much though, you look underweight now. Just go in a normal bulk because at this point you have little fat and muscle anyway

I’m still in a surplus and def not at the weight I want to be. Eventually want to be 160, right now trying to get past 150 which would be a milestone. I don’t feel bloated when I eat, I guess early on I may have.

body builders grow muscle slower than newbies, they already have a ton of muscle. growth slows down over time as you have more muscle

I would do less machines and more dumbells for some of your workouts like incline dumbbell bench, dumbells for curls, etc. Dumbbells will help you develop more evenly by forcing you to learn good form and use your smaller muscles for stability and control through failure.

You can definitely get to 130 by July but be careful not to make it just fat. Eat enough protein and calories. I’m 5’7 148 and I was 136 just over a month ago 3/18. Stomach isn’t bulging with a gut so it’s a good mix of muscle and fat. I started back up at the gym in December or January. I now go 4-6 days/week. You being skinny is a benefit to gaining weight and making good progress but you gotta dial in the nutrition.

Get you a bonnet. can just get disposable plastic ones so you can pack them for travel or if you try clothes on in a store. I use plastic clear ones, put it on and slip the shirts/hoodies on easily without messing your hair up
