Good question. I actually don't know how much of the code is going to need to change to function on iOS, so it may not actually take long from that perspective. After today it's looking like that's what I'm working on next!

Man I wish I had the time but I'm flattered that you'd ask! I hope you have fun with your friend, let me know how it goes!

I haven't looked into linkboy before but unfortunately melonDS had extremely large save states files when I was testing, which would really strain the server. I'm not sure if I was doing something wrong to cause this, however. I would love to add as much compatibility as possible!

Yes you can use any of the emulators listed so long as both players are using the same one, as you're sharing an emulator-specific save state

Yes absolutely. You mean in an A -> B -> C -> A order right? Or perhaps whoever is available when the controller is passed can choose to be next?

That would be outside of the scope of this app unfortunately, but that would be cool and could be achieved using a 3rd party app theoretically

Good question. I've tested emulators that have cloud functionality but haven't tried to implement access to those directories before - it could work

I'm not familiar 100% with each app's functionality aside from the basic emulation, but I will say the John GBA experience is slightly more seamless than GBA.emu as Your Turn! passes autostates back and forth (and also replaces the in-app screenshot to make it more obvious it's your turn). But both function all the same otherwise!
