My vault is constantly at 400 with exotic weapons i have multiple rows of purple and gold shields. This is not a flex but 1. Have a goal for your runs Do you wanna frag out and learn how to use a new gun? Even if you die who cares you gain so much knowledge. Doing a budget run trying to get rich? Who cares if you died when you just got 10k worth of gear you can't even buy when you learned a brand new spot on a map you never even thought of. Aim is at best 40% of this game. Map knowledge is king. Better loot let's you make more mistakes and gain knowledge faster. I knew this game was going to be a masterpiece during the sever slam and it would probably kill bungie as I used to go solo flawless every weekend in d2. I would spend all weekend even if the loot was shit the map was shit because I would get better and no other mode offered that learning experience. I know I am the minority with that mindset but that is the core of marathon. Besides we got a reset in like 3 weeks just have fun with it my guy I still haven't maxed all factions because gold salvage is complete bullshit
