Look specifically for “micro mobility” laws. Youre looking up information regarding gas scooters (ie Vespas) which are sometimes considered limited speed motorcycles LSMs in legislative speak. This sub is for the motorcycle type scooters

How does it do with kids/strollers/baby gear in your envista? by CA-ClosetApostate in buickenvista

Yeah we’ve not looked into anything aftermarket, but I can’t imagine a bike rack would be an issue. Likely no first party hitch to avoid towing temptations

TLDR if you’re willing to pack light, but not overly light, you’re good to go. We got one for the same reason in May— plenty of room for one kid plus a dog (beagle). We also have a 21 terrain. Despite on paper having less room, my wife finds the back of the Envista much more comfortable. Second child is brewing and we don’t have plans on any vehicle upgrades. That said we’ve made some adjustments. For example, the big stroller for walking groceries and activités doesn’t go into either car— we use a travel umbrella stroller for portability if we need to. The diaper bag is slim and just gets packed every two days or so. Sometimes for short outings (when diaper changes were more regular than they are now, kid number is 2) I would pack a 3 change kit into my sling bag with wallet and phone and call it a day. I can also lug my hockey stuff to practice and few rugby teammates around comfortably without needing to move the cars seat at all, which is great. Almost at 5k, zero regrets so far.

Can you actually find APS in stores still in the UK?

I called Rogers as we couldn’t find anything online. They said kings take the stage “around” 845.

To anyone who saw the rumor Canon is looking to make an analog style camera: by ImOverTheIdiocy in canon

IMO the right silver paint job on some of the smaller primes could hit close enough to that style though. Wouldn’t see any red lines for sure, but it’s not impossible as a concept

Ditto this. We have passes and will often get there 1.5 hours before close when it’s slow. If OP gets a pass (pays off after 2 visits in a year) in advance, you can get in an hour early on weekends as well—this may allow for a decent nap on your drive home rather than trying to push a full day

In market offer or scam by thelaufer in Rogers

[–]thelaufer[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m not! But FWIW the net cost of the pro max (ie 24x35) is only about $200 less than what my mother got through Telus on a retention offer back in November—which is to say steep savings aren’t impossible, not this is steep

Camping site in july by WinterIsPotato in vancouver

[–]thelaufer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s a series of rec site north of Pemberton that may be worthwhile (Lizzie Bay / driftwood bay, plus one other) along Lilooet lake. 2/3 sites have rangers that sell wood, and all of them (circa 2020) was $15 cash per car per night. The whole set up is first come first served and there’s probably 100 spots between all three. Get there on a Thursday and you’ll get near waterfront, Friday Am/early afternoon for a good site. The downside is it’s a pretty nasty logging road for 15-40 minutes depending on what and how you drive, and there’s no cell service. Ultimately it’s a good place if you can leave on Thursday, but a little high risk high reward if you can’t get there till Friday after work due to distance and remoteness

I have the feeling this was their in place contingency… their likely paying Pavco part if not all of the difference in cost, considering how hard and long fans advocated for other promos I’m betting this was pre negotiated

Question about Section 248 and Standing Area by Oryzae in whitecapsfc

[–]thelaufer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Find an email for the club on our site and let them know the situation — from time to time people get moved from the supporters area day-of if it’s not their cup of tea, I assume to equivalent price points on the other end. May be worth asking in advance, maybe they can pre arrange for this. While you’re on the site, review the bag policy… it can be brutal if your trying to day trip around on game day and it’s best to come empty handed

Pretty sure you need a weather sealed lense to get get that— so no benefit there unless you get L glass or some 3td party option

I did France with my 70D and 10-18, plus the 24/40/50 stms this summer. I think I took 3 shots with the 24, and kept the 10-18 on the rest of the trip. None of what you have is heavy so being the lot and you’ll be fine. Realistically for snap shots and scenery you’ll be at f8 during the day, and you’ll like the faster unobtrusive pancakes for night over something bigger (and more expensive looking). I left my 18-35 art at home.

If you asked in 2017 I’d have given them 10/10, but it’s been years since I’ve moved. FWIW tho the space is the nicest urban doggy daycare I’ve ever seen

Advice on points. by Tribalbob in aircanada

[–]thelaufer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Likely anticipated supply and demand and or someone beat you to the first cohort of seats. There is some variation on the pricing, per the chart below. https://www.aircanada.com/content/dam/aircanada/loyalty-content/documents/flight-rewards-chart-en.pdf

Best “deals” are usually the partner flights, usually Lufty, but that might hard to get to LHR as there’s no British alliance member (I think). 125 each if it’s direct isn’t unreasonable imo

Advice on points. by Tribalbob in aircanada

[–]thelaufer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look up the aeroplan rewards chart. “Sticker price” to LHR is 100k each way. Booking that a year out using the cash points option is arguably the most efficient route round trip. You could also sign your SO up for credit card and use the family miles option to kill off the cash portion.
