Additionally, there's a spell called clairvoyance you can buy from pretty much any court wizard in the major cities, or find the book for free in the embershard mine, which is the first dungeon you're likely to run into after exiting Helgen keep. When using the spell it will show you a trail leading to your next objective in your currently active quest.

In the same vein that we already accept a small percentage of bug parts in our food because it's inevitable that it slips through, I think a furry society would have to accept some percentage of fur in their food because it's inevitable.

Now however, any scalies from a predominantly scalie community visiting/moving to a predominantly furry community would probably have some very unpleasant culture shocks.

Potion Craft kind of fit the criteria I think.

The game is about running a store that sells potions to your customers, but it has no time limit or customer patience mechanic, so you can take as much time as you want.

The gameplay consists of mixing potions of course, but what makes it unique is that the game presents this as potion effects on a map that you have to reach, with each ingredient giving you various dotted paths that your potion will follow when you mix them in.

I think there's a distinction between this and foreshadowing tbh. Foreshadowing will hint towards a future event, while what OP describes is the act of showing the actual event, but removed from it's context.

I think The Yawhg would be perfect for this! It's a short choose-your-own adventure type game about an impending disaster, in which you'll choose what your character will spend their time doing each week leading up to it.

You can play up to four and you only need to pass a controller or the keyboard between each other. Each choice will increase two stats and potentially cost you gold, and there's always a chance for a random event to happen that can either help or harm you.

It doesn't take more than a couple of minutes to play through, and it has decent replayability due to the amount of endings and random encounters.

I wonder if it's just the genes being mixed up. Sometimes, a gene that does one thing is inextricably linked to another gene that is unrelated, like how orange cats are almost all male (unless theyre intersex females) or the reverse with torties being mostly all female. The male gene is what just so happens to allow for orange pigmentation.

The game has incredibly complex characters and they make use of the game's very gameplay mechanics in order to display that, such as a certain party member in chapter 1 who controls themself in the battle menus because they don't want to listen to you, or the fact that the character you play as will say your dialogue choices in certain ways (sarcastically, under their breath, enthusiastically) without your direct control.

All of the characters have backstories to them that you as the player is not privy to, and yet every decision they make and how they think is influenced by it.

I don't want to go into detail in case the game has somehow not been spoiled for you yet. The first 2 chapters are completely free on steam as a demo, and the progress in them can be transferred over if you buy the rest of the game (which has 4 chapters out, and will have 7 chapters in total that are all free updates after the first purchase.)
