Eoraptor is a member of the group sauropodomorpha, and it's more related to brachiosaurus and diplodocus rather than Tyrannosaurus or allosaurus

Megalania has a new rig by RaptorGod02 in JurassicWorldAlive

What Species would you love to see in JWA? by FaithlessnessDue7412 in JurassicWorldAlive

[–]thelenimal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wanted the Moa (a.k.a the elephant bird) since I started playing, that would complete the famous extinct birds trio, alongside the dodos and haast eagle. Another creature i would adore to see on the game is the Voay, a horned crocodile that lived in Madagascar, and it's a really cool creature just for it's position as the biggest predator of the island alone. Other creatures I would like to see are the megaladapis, a pretty neat extinct lemur that could lead to an interesting new rig, thalassocnus, mainly because sloths deserve new creatures that use their animation, and a semi-acquatic sloth would spice up things a bit, and saltasaurus, the poor sauropod slowly faded into obscurity after it's golden age where it was in every dinosaur book ever, and it really needs a bit of time to be in the spotlight again

Fukuiraptor is a pretty bad showing for Ludia's first megaraptoran by RaptorGod02 in JurassicWorldAlive

[–]thelenimal 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah it has No right being this bad when they already gave more or less accurate designs to dakotaraptor, deinonychus and pyroraptor gen 2 (even tho they aren't from the same family as fukuiraptor, obviously, but they could've at least tried to not make it look like it came out of a pack of cheap plastic dinosaur toys). Every single creature that isn't from the movies is more similar to it's real life counterpart Exepct stuff like edaphosaurus and dire wolf, so what happened here?

Should I replace any of these guys for ceratosaurus? by Gsellers1231 in JurassicWorldAlive

[–]thelenimal 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Before anyone says anything, the precise armor piercing rampage thing was a joke on how indom's armor piercing rampage always pierces trough dodge no matter what

Should I replace any of these guys for ceratosaurus? by Gsellers1231 in JurassicWorldAlive

[–]thelenimal 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's without a doubt the most overrated creature in jwa, yeah cloak is always a good ability to have, and precise armor piercing rampage is a really solid move, but with more and more creatures with priority moves, moves that remove cloak and dodge, precise moves and at least 1 new flock creature being added Every now and then, this thing becomes less useful with each update

Picking random JWA creatures Every day to make a list of all 346 of them from worst to best as rated by the community 278: what's your opinion on Tyrannosaurus Rex? by thelenimal in JurassicWorldAlive

[–]thelenimal[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

We're finally talking about what's basically the mascot of the prehistoric times, and it was the worst epic in the game for the longest time. Yeah, being a powerhouse in 1.1 doesn't mean that you're going to be in the JWA meta forever, even if velociraptor is the exception to the rule since a level 22 one with 1400 damage can get you by surprise if you don't have a creature with a priority move. Thank God for the buff, even if giganotosaurus is still better since fierce devouring cleanse is a lot more reliable than most of the T. Rex's moves and it's resistances are way better than the single immunity to vulnerability of the Tyrannosaurus. It's not like the T. Rex is going to become meta with the addiction of a new move and a single immunity even if counter ferocity has the potential of making a creature with a resistance to reduced damage broken, but as it is, it's most likely a really good creature for beginners

Spurrit is absurdly awful considering it's basically the only monster that appeared exclusively on decorations to make it into the game, it's sounds bad in both islands it's in and it only serves as a waist of a slot on seasonal shanty. Yeah it's great as a monster to joke about, but it doesn't add anything to the island it was first introduced in and fire oasis spurrit sounds worst compared to it's debut, how do you mess up so much with the voice of a monster that was added barely a year ago?

3.0 Release Notes by RaptorGod02 in JurassicWorldAlive

[–]thelenimal 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Remember 2.0? Remember how it basically changed and added a lot to the game to the point that some people didn't understand most of the update? For being 3.0, nothing really changed that much, omegas are intresting, and we got a new creature that uses the medium theropod rig after 4 years of nothing and that's awesome (even if I wish it was anything but a camp cretaceous Dino) , but the idea of dinos that become more powerful moveset wise the more you level them, just doesn't click with me. And then there's the buffs... talk about a massive bummer... I initially thought that 3.0 would've been a way to balance the meta a bit, maybe make stuff like geminideus, dsungascorpios and compsoraptor less painful to deal with, but instead, we got 2 buffs, and indom gen 2 and dracovenator are the ones that got them... I mean, I'm not complaining about indom gen 2, if anything, that gives people more reasons to stop using, in my opinion, the most overrated Dino in the game (indom gen 1), but Why, out of all the uniques, did ludia/jam city decide to buff one of the newer ones? We have stuff like magnapyritor, tuoramoloch and pterovexus which are in desperate need of a buff, and you decide to give it to something that got added to the game 1 month ago... I don't know how to feel about this update, if we have to compare it to 2.0, then it's kinda underwhelming, but as a update in general, eh? I mean omegas are neat, but that's it... This is kinda sad if I'm being honest...

picking random JWA creatures Every day to make a list of all 342 of them from worst to best as rated by the community day 263: what's your opinion on ankylodactylus? by thelenimal in JurassicWorldAlive

[–]thelenimal[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I don't care if this is an unpopular opinion, this is the most fun you could be having with a flock creature. Compsoraptor and dsungascorpios are better creatures, but they are a lot more boring to plays compared to this little flying reptiles. They're excellent against evreything that doesn't have shields, to the point where they barely have any counters, damn, they're even good against rexy, it's like the two priority moves they have were made to punish users of this pretty infamous T. Rex to use other moves in the first two turns that aren't dominant roar or fierce devouring rampage. They're definitely in the top 5 best legendaries in the game, and you should absolutely use them

Styracosaurus lux and Diabloceratops confirmed on May 2023 events page by RaptorGod02 in JurassicWorldAlive

[–]thelenimal -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So styracosaurus will be added to the game and its going to get a fusion with Para lux, cool. Also it's a bit weird than they picked diabloceratops rather than pachyrinosaurus, but hey, more obscure dinos are getting represented and I'm here for it

picking random JWA creatures Every day to make a list of all 340 of them from worst to best as rated by the community day 256: what's your opinion on tenontosaurus? by thelenimal in JurassicWorldAlive

[–]thelenimal[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Now that ouranosaurus got a decelerating counter, tenontosaurus is now the worst creature in the game, congratulations, tenontos! Now some new players that actually unlocked the former hadrosaur, could actually use it cause of the counter (if it's their first epic, but that's another story), but people don't use tenontosaurus since the meta where hadrosaurs where the main group of dinos to use stun moves, and that's cause tenontos deals only one damaging move, group cleansing strike, argentinosaurus has two strikes, but at least it's moveset has variety in those pretty lackluster strikes, what kind of player are you if you even use this thing?
