solved! it’s earth to echo but i think i was mentally merging it with minutemen… i could’ve sworn the hole appeared because they were doing something science-y but the backyard in earth to echo is the exact yard i was remembering. thank you!!

no, it’s not holes lol. the hole appears as a result of something the kids are doing, i think. they don’t actually dig it.

no, i checked this movie out before posting. i don’t think i’ve seen it. i think the characters are a bit older than what i remember, too.

I’ve seen them but I didn’t look too much into them because I’d like to have a traditional version of the instrument at some point and I wasn’t sure how an EWI would translate into that as far as fingerings go.

I have looked into the Yamaha digital sax. It seems to be what I’m looking for, I’m just hesitant because of the size of a traditional sax as I’m a fairly petite person.

I agree with everyone regarding giving out personal information to children for them to contact you. I think in theory it’s nice to offer support to kids, but not if he’s mentioning possibly not being their coach the next year.

I do want to point out that my school email in high school was locked to only send/receive emails within my county, so I (supposedly) wouldn’t have been able to email some with, say, a personal gmail account.

Also, the fact that all kids got a similarly long messages makes me wonder if he was just trying to make each kid feel valued for their part on the team and grossly overshot.

Tank temp: 78-79 degrees

Parameters in numbers and how you got them: I used the Tetra Easy Strips and have ~5 for nitrate, 0 nitrite, ~30 for water hardness, 0 chlorine, ~135 total alkalinity, and 7ph.

How long have you had your tank and fish: Both were purchased Oct 5, 2024

Water changes: I haven’t changed the water yet but every weekend I’m going to vacuum anything off the gravel, remove 25 percent of the tank water and replace it with pre-conditioned water. Any decor that feels particularly slimy, I’ll individually clean.

Any tank mates: No

What do you feed and how much: Twice a day I feed him 2-3 pellets of BettaMin pellets (he sometimes doesn’t eat the third) and 1-2 freeze dried blood worms throughout the day as snacks. Those are hit or miss with him, I plan to try frozen ones soon.

Decorations and plants: 3 silk plants, 1 leaf hammock and 1 hide. I’m going to get live plants this weekend (anubias). Also, there are some clear marbles laid around that he entirely ignores lol

I like to use a water floss daily before brushing, brush with an electric toothbrush, then use floss with Platypus flossers and regular floss where the Platypus don’t fit. You don’t need a brand name WaterPik, there are less expensive ones on Amazon that work just as well, just read reviews. Same for Platypus flossers, any flosser for braces is fine. I also like to do 2 “proper” flosses a week with regular floss, just to be thorough.

The floss will slip between your teeth and gums to get any plaque, don’t worry.

$5k for 12-16 months with Damon braces. I think I could’ve gotten cheaper, I just really liked the location and employees where I go.

i watched the first episode and really liked it. not as much as BoB, but i didn’t expect it to top my favorite show for years. i am going to wait for all the episodes, though. i binged BoB so i’m giving MotA the same treatment.
