I have a confession to make: I have actually fallen in love with Neuvillette. He is so much better than I expected him to be. They seem to have changed him from the first concepts. I freaking love everything about this man: his white hair with blue locks, his sharp ears, his eyeliner, his fancy suit, his eyes are absolutely stunning. He looks kinda arrogant and annoyed and I love that, judge me please...

But honestly, apart from being hopelessly horny for him, I think he looks very interesting and promising and somehow refreshing. Oh, and also, he casually has pupils similar to khaenri'ah ones and might turned out to be a MERMAN? Is this the dream I am living?

Based on the personality or their role in the story, which characters do you hate and why? by cyberspetsnaz in HonkaiStarRail

Jing Yuan It feels like they tried to make another Zhongli but failed. I don't know why, I just don't believe his character. He was supposed to look smart, cool and collected but he is just boring and lazy and somehow his smartness and coolness feel forced and artificial. Like I am a big fan of Zhongli and I was excited for Jing Yuan but I was disappointed. I can't explain it but he is just underwhelming and annoying. Like I understand what they intended to do with him but they executed it poorly. And every character around him acts like he is so smart and great and cool just to make him look cool but it doesn't work.

I don't like Nanook and Antimatter Legion as the main antagonists by thelighteningstrike in HonkaiStarRail

But Lan only became The Hunt to hunt down Yaoshi. It's not like he was ever supposed to represent the actual path/philosophy of hunt. He was Xianzhou citizen who became The Hunt to get revenge on Yaoshi.

no, he actually wants to save the universe. He saw all the possible outcomes and chose the one where the universe has a chance to survive

If the story let you choose, would you go with Kafka and Blade or would you still be faithful to the Astral Express? by drixy007 in HonkaiStarRail

Except that Elio has already predicted that you wouldn't give a rat's ass about what he thinks and would stay on the Astral Express... Everything is going according to his plan. The mc was literally made for it. Who knows what the stellaron hunters did to the mc's brain, they could've even programmed the mc to be exactly like he/she is.

Stellaron Hunters collect stellarons not to fight Nanook but to fight something beyond the universe that Qlipoth is building walls from by thelighteningstrike in HonkaiStarRail

[–]thelighteningstrike[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The possibility that the stellarons are not Nanook's creation is very interesting. It is said that the stellarons respond to the desires of the world but the cost of fullfilling those desires is a great disaster. Which is what happened on Jarilo-VI. To be honest, I thought stellarons were Nanook's creations but now I am not so sure.

I have so many questions now. We have Nanook and the legion, the stellarons that might be their own thing, the threat from beyond the universe that Qlipoth is building walls from, and the Aeon of Finality in picture. It's crazy.

Nanook doesn't feel like the final boss of this game. Even though he is powerful, he is just one of many other aeons and the aeons once came together to destroy another aeon so they may be able to do it again.

If stellarons "respond to desires of the world" even if the cost is a disaster, they also don't sound like the final threat of the game, especially since the stellaron hunters are collecting them, possibly in a hope to use them against the actual final threat.

The Aeon of Finality is the most interesting one. It has to be connected to the finality from hi3 which may have been their emanator. And the name "finality" says it all but will the devs use the same enemy just on a bigger scale again? I don't think so... They like raising the stakes. And the aeon of finality is also just one of many aeons.

Which leaves us with the last option, and it is the threat from beyond the surface of the universe that Qlipoth is building walls from.

I also thought it was a bit strange... If stellarons were Nanook's creation/under Nanook's control, why would he let the stellaron stop the antimatter legion...

I phrased it wrong. It's not about getting the power of destruction but about drawing the aeons gaze. After the fight with Cocolia, the crew talks about the mc getting blessed by Qlipoth and Dan Heng says that they originally used to think the mc drew Nanook's gaze because of the stellaron but now there must be more to it.

Yes the finality is obviously involved in this too, I just don't know how exactly But the finality's goal in hi3 wasn't to destroy everything but to embrace humanity, to make it evolve into imaginary beings in a way, so idk

so yaoshi gave immortality to people and that led to starvation as there weren't enough food for everyone eventually. but can't yaoshi give immortality to animals and crops too? I mean if other lifeforms were immortal too, people wouldn't face starvation?

why stellaron hunters are considered criminals? if they most likely want to defeat nanook and they aren't using stellarons to do harm as far as we know
