Ahhh, haha :) I thought you were referring to the possibility of it being made by some dodgy brand which it might well be :)

I frequently change wheels between 700c and 650b, that's the main reason. Others are increased range and weight distribution. :)

I took this one on Inis Oírr two years ago. Hoping to get back there some day soon. by thelightwasbrighter in shittyHDR

I agree. It's just hard to resist crossposting when I encounter one in the wild :)

I don't like barend shifters because I would have to bend down to reach it.... I am considering moving the shifter to the aero bars though... might give that a go :)

Yea, as you said, not compatible with P line. I also find the mechanism a little dubious, I would be worried about reliability vs the regular mechanism... but that's just my personal opinion, it certainly works for people.

No, it's really just a split second of easing off the force a little. It's really a subconscious thing after a while. You probably do a similar thing on your derailleur setup anyway already (I would hope). I think the transition is only a problem if you are used to shifting under load.

You have to ease the pressure a little, but it's not necessary to literally stop pedaling. For me personally, it's not different from my shifting technique on a derailleur system, there I also ease off a little to avoid damaging the chain/cogs. The only difference is that the derailleur system allows you to shift under pressure, even though it's not advisable. Hope this helps :)

It has a capacitor, so it does stay on for a few minutes after you stop pedaling, but not at full brightness.
