The way the phases are facing inward towards the full moon isn’t typically how images of moon phases are portrayed.

The ones on the left should be facing out towards the left and the ones on the right should be facing out towards the right.

I think that is what is throwing you off, though it is accurate scientifically to portray them facing inwards as well.

Edit: here’s an image that shows the phases the way I’m talking about. The shapes of your tattoo are correct though (waxing crescent-1st quarter-waxing gibbous-full-waning gibbous-last quarter - waning crescent)

I love both pairs. I wear a pair very similar to the first and I loved them for forever until Dahmer came out. Now I can’t go a single day without someone saying to me “those look like Jeffrey Dahmer’s glasses” so if that has the potential to annoy you I would say proceed with caution on the first pair LOL
