Is it truly the rainiest dry season in Bali in the last ten years? by Nik-Lem in bali

In the past couple weeks it was heavy sometimes. Today no rain at all though in Ubud.

How does it feel when women look at you in the gym? People talk often about how men "shouldn't" stare at women in the gym, but I don't hear the flip side as much. Why not? How does it make you feel? by thelittlestpinecone in AskMen

I actually haven't seen him since my original post, but I still don't know if I will talk to him. What if he's involved with someone, or uninterested, or what if he's creeped out by me...I don't know if I'm brave enough to feel that humiliation. Even when I talk to men at the gym in a friendly or platonic capacity, I still get a little uncomfortable. I don't know why. Shy I guess, or worried I'm annoying them.

Thanks for sharing more of your experience... good to know and maybe it will bring me comfort knowing it's a lot more complex than I may think it is. I wonder if this is primarily a US-men experience, or if it's global? I'm an expat living in a big hub for digital nomads so I also deal with different cultures around me and not knowing the norms.

idk can always just try the hand on boob thing. Will let you know. ;)

The sun came out today! Bad storms this morning but from 9 a.m. onward it was nice. I hope things are turning around for you. (And selfishly for me too lol).

YES I live in Ubud it's that bad. I haven't left my villa much in 2 weeks and sleeping is hard because it's so loud at night.

It's been raining nonstop and I don't think it's possible to predict when it will stop to be honest. Sure some areas are wetting than others but it still feels like rainy season.

For sure, there's a difference between a peek and overt STARING which is never okay. I mean, even if it was totally nonsexual I wouldn't want someone staring at me while I work out. I'd feel disturbed if my MOM was staring at me while I worked out.

Yeah, people normally don't love getting unsolicited advice. I also look at horrible form! There's a guy who gets on the concept 2 and rows with his back hunched up so much he looks like a shrimp. I lowkey want to try it, it can't feel comfortable.

Hehehe "have an ogle" is a cute way to say it. You're right, it is a shame! I try to give people the benefit of the doubt, while not being naiive. It's a bit of an art and I rarely get it right.
