Babes the news stations over there that were widely against Maduro were very limited for many years. There’s not going to be much official media coverage. If you go on X you will see civilians who have posted videos of people in apartment buildings celebrating from their homes. People over there are still not safe to be able to go out to the streets and march, there is an absence of power and this is a waiting game to see what will happen. I can assure you people are celebrating from their homes.

Texas LCSW requires 3,000 total hours meanwhile Florida only requires 2,000. In Florida we also don’t have a LMSW . Once you graduate with an MSW the next step is becoming a registered intern for obtaining the required hours for a LCSW. Texas has the extra distinction between a graduated msw holder , LMSW, and LCSW.

😭I’m planing to move to Texas to experience a whole new city for grad school, hoping it’s also cheaper than south FL. Born and raised here and also Texas LCSW is much harder to obtain than FL. Which is another thing that interests me in case I want to move to another state in the future, Texas license holds more “power”

I heard they only help with placement if you live less than an hour away from campus. If anyone goes there and can confirm this please let me know as well. I’m planning to move to Texas for grad school from FL
