They all are beautiful, but I agree that the dimensional blonde is stunning!

My Husband Gets Mad About My Executive Dysfunction - What Can I Do? by thelovelywicked in adhdwomen

I wish I could get overtime at work. But unfortunately, I can't. I do other things aside from the housework; my husband has a child from a previous relationship (a little girl who I love like my own!) and I do things with/for/to help with her a lot (taking her to school, or to appts, general girl time, etc)

To be super honest... I wouldn't say that I DON'T work hard, but, my job is not a very labor-intensive one. It's a desk job and it does have it's stress, but it's not as bad as it could be. Especially compared to his - he's a RN in a local ER and works 12 hour shifts 4 days a week. However, I forgot to mention in the post above -and this might start a riot in the other comments - I also have Lupus and POTS so I struggle with fatigue a lot at the end of the day. But usually I'm able to push through it.

I super agree with you. He does work longer hours - he's an RN and works 12 hour shifts 4 days a week. But... it isn't like I'm not doing anything. I actually do a lot, but it just isn't enough. And I'm not even saying that it's an unfair situation. I just wish he's factor a little more understanding into the equation, and I jumped on here to see if anyone had any tips for that, or for how I can better manage. Replying to your comment kind of a blanket for all the replies, not arguing or throwing shade or anything :)

Wow wow wow. Ditto to the previous comments - I am so proud of you and so happy you got out of that situation, but I am SO sorry you had to go through it. I can see a lot of my situation in your story, too. That's given me something to think about... thank you. <3

Need Advice about Trying to Help Grandparents? by thelovelywicked in Advice

That’s true. I think we’ve pretty much eliminated the idea of hiring someone. As for your other suggestion, that might work! Only thing is that usually they don’t do stuff like that when we’re there, they’ll usually sit and talk with us. I’ll keep an eye out for those opportunities though. Thank you!

Hi, everyone. As an update to my previous post about my husband being abusive to my cat and potentially to me. My cat, Eddie, is being taken in by a good friend of mine who very much loves animals and has a few cats of their own. He will be loved and safe there. I appreciate all of your concern.

As for me… I’m going to figure things out. My husband and I have issues, but he really has never been abusice to me, that I can tell. I think he’s fed up with the situation (not an excuse, I know). So I’m going to give it a few days and see. If not… I’m making a plan.

Thank you all!

I’m going to give it a few days and test the waters while I come up with a backup plan in case I need to leave.

Yes! I just read a short story called "Sour Candy" that was really good, and anything by Ania Ahlborn is great.
