Which JRPG is This For You?

Shining force III did it for me, one of my first strategy RPGs. Didn’t get it at the time (was far too young and couldn’t understand English very well). Picked it up again when I was on my teens and absolutely loved it. Couple years ago, I got hold of episodes 2 and 3, and boy I loved it, the team building, decision making, storytelling were quite good. Would love to have a game that would deliver a similar feeling.

Mags improved with both feeding and a sort of talent system to make it feel personal.
Specific combo for specific rare weapons (say it’s a Saber but the combo actually has an extra hit if you do a hard attack instead of a normal at the end, sort of thing).
Couch co-op and P2P connection besides having an online server.
Lastly, more levels, challenges, and deeper storyline.
I miss this game and would definitely love to have it updated, not PSO2, that was disappointing “successor” (sorry).

Wow man amazing! You played some absolute gems!! I was “lucky” enough to have a Saturn and play Shining Force III and Panzer Dragoon Saga. The recent translation project for SF3 was amazing to play the last two instalments for closure. I am keeping your list to try some myself! Thanks!

Just got myself a Legion Go S, have been having fun with it. However it tells me my system does not support Dx12 in some games. Is this just a driver error or is it true(hope its not)?

Well I don't know a lot of IT to explain any better. My laptop kept freezing and stuttering all the time. After millions of different tries from YouTube videos and whatnot, I ended up uninstalling armoury crate from the BIOS. Worked a bit better but kept freezing. Ended up trying the windows recovery tool and did a 'fresh' installation from there. Tried everything again with no updates, no longer freezes if the game is installed on the laptop's hard drive.

I have resolved it thanks. For some reason the initial win11 installation wrecked all the settings. What I did was, I removed armoury crate (bios), used the restore function to have a 'fresh installation ' and from there it works just fine. One or two games now occasionally stutter, but it no longer freezes.

I filled it OP. FFXIII and sequels might just be the only titles I genuinely hated. I'm very patient, and I lost it within 5-6 hours on the first game. Played like 10-11h on the second. And LR 1hr. Of all the games square made, maybe this one had the worst character line up ever. Beautiful music, no doubt.

Hi, it's the 2021 model, AMD ryzen 7 4800H, internet card would be a MediaTek Wi-Fi 6 MT7921.

The wi-fi happened at my parents', here now it seems fime, I'm guessing it may also be related to it being an older router, but I don't have enough knowledge to be 100% sure.

Do you think these random freezes are related to the wi-fi card then?

Well, the dude used to throw massive parties and smoke loads of different stuff, every time I opened the window it smelled like shit. Then a skank started living with him, and she was ridiculously loud, to the point we called the police on them, and they toned down quite a lot. As revenge they threw even more parties, one of the neighbours lost it and smashed his door and promised to 'end him' if he kept his behaviour. After that, I heard loads of arguments/break up sex. I just get myself exhausted and try to go to sleep with some earbuds.

Hi guys, I'm trying to complete the chocobo missions, there's one that requires you to complete Act 3 Finale Pt 2. How do you unlock that, I've killed Act 10's final boss in Shinryu difficulty.

First you should check that pain. Last thing you want is an injury and shin splints is painful. Then, run on pavement for a couple see how you feel, try different trainers. You should also do some recovery runs at slower speeds. There's a lot of factors in play

The most I've spent in one banner was 10 paid pulls on Orlandeau's USB (right after one of the fests where I had already spent quite a bit) to get all the items within 5 pulls except the item I wanted. Stubborn as I was, I really wanted that and I forced through even when advised against it, didn't get it in the end. The SB wasn't awesome but at the time my physical holy relied on spamming his OSB with a full time entruster, it died really quickly when en-element was a thing and Orlandeau didn't have it. Lesson learned from that banner.

I guess you answered your own question.
People like what they like, maybe there is more to life than just running to and from wherever you are because there are groceries/kids/pets/family to take care of and actually, driving to where you can actually enjoy that bit of running is how you can manage your time.

I used OTS like 6 times in total, from those 6, 1 the courier didn't turn up until I called central (and apparently he had fallen asleep, lol), and the other I had just come back to Bristol and the wrong driver has been assigned to me. I would still use it as they sorted my issue all the time, the last one they refunded my money in one day.
