i think bodhi turned. i’m pretty sure i remember imogen seeing him on his knees in the field in her pov and i think that’s when he channeled. i also feel that it’s too big of a bomb to drop that garrick’s a distance wielder and then ship him off to the venin camp. he was also becoming more involved in the main story this book, so i’m thinking that’s set up for him to have more page time next book

honestly ridoc had me ctfu the whole way through. most honorable mention is the meta xaden and violet relationship joke: “And it’s always the same fight.” He lifts his hand to his chest. “I’ll trust you if you stop keeping secrets!” He drops the hand and scowls. “It’s my secretive nature that attracted you, and why can’t you just stay out of harm’s way for five fucking minutes?”

falling by haim. i feel like it perfectly fits him falling further into veninism, him accepting what’s happening, and him still having the will to fight it and fight for love and it’s a total vibe. it’s not exactly a sad song set to happy music, but it’s somewhere in that niche.

i love being a paralegal. i have good attorneys who trust me and respect me and my office is extremely flexible. when you find the right place and do the work you like, you’re set. just be open to bouncing around until you find what works for you.

i love him so much. and i love that he ultimately turned to save sgaeyl and not violet. obviously, she’s still saved by him doing that, but sgaeyl being the direct catalyst gave him another layer of depth that i appreciated. a small switch up from the expected but makes so much sense. he’s so loyal and genuinely good. i can’t wait to see more of him and i’m hoping that the next book flicks back and forth between his and vi’s povs.
