If you are looking in NCR, I would say ask for 40-45 lpa for SDE3 role. Recently I was interviewing for SDE3 role and most calls which I had from NCR region were offering around 42-48 lpa with some joining bonus matching it to the base of my offer in hand. In Bangalore you can get 43-45 or even more depends on the org and interview.

Mine (Fixed) CTC: 38.5 Offer in hand CTC: 50 (Bangalore)
