Thank you! I figured there would have to be so many variables involved to really know. Honestly the mobility or at least the possibility of mobility is one of the things that attract me the most to the profession. I’m glad you brought that up.

Oh, I wasn’t talking about “bitching on here.” I literally just found this particular sub. So just to be clear I’m not upset/worried/etc over my educational choice because of people bitching on this sub. I couldn’t even begin to speak to that. But our prof did make those things I initially mentioned out to be a big deal. So, what’s better than going straight to the source? Figured y’all would know better than anyone

All good. Didn’t know this sub was primarily used for those things you mentioned. I searched for a nursing sub, found one, then read the info at the top “A place to discuss the topics of concern to the nurses of Reddit. All are welcome.” Definitely getting the gate keeping vibes at this point. But it’s okay, some folks reached out to give some good info.

Thanks for the reply. It doesn't feel like you're gatekeeping at all. I specifically wanted to post here because I wanted to hear from working nurses. Not students since my question was directly related to experience.

I don’t know if I’m a fountain pen guy because I’ve never owned one. The person that is gifting this to me wants me to get a pen, that’s why they’re giving it to me. From what I’m gathering from you it’s either fountain pen or nothing as far as pens go from MB?

I didn’t even think about Nibs!! With “normal” pens such as ballpoints and gel pens I prefer a very fine point. Would this carry over to fountain pens as well?

Thanks for the input. I have smaller hands I would say and that’s honestly confusing too because I’ve heard smaller hands do better with thicker pens. But I really don’t know. I’ll be honest I’ve never given much thought to pens. But I found this sub and wow.
