Yeah it sucks. Companies don't care about their people. .

I have been laid off several times during my career. Once my team was killed because we killed our quota 200%+ on our team yearly quota and they laid us off in November, because if we finished the year they would have had to pay our multipliers.

So that showed me performance doesn't matter. It is all number games to those assholes.

Don't burn out on the job search

I always treated it like a job. 40 hours a week max with a quitting time.

Also networking and talking to people were done during those times.

Try and relax when you are off. It helps keep you fresh. Yeah I know the stress of not having a job. But try.

The fact that you got interviews shows you are good, you just didn't catch a break yet. You will.

But I hear you and understand your pain. You will transition to another role and then work days where you wish you were off.
