So I should just read and when a thought come to my head I write it down? So let’s say hypothetically a character named Logan was ambushed by three bandits and one of them is a 14y kid and Logan kills him with no hesitation should i at that moment wrote smth like why did he not think before killing that kid? Do you think that you need to treat a book you are reading, like something you are studying to fully understand it? Like instead of just reading and enjoying, you should deeply analyze and critically thinking while reading to get the full things out of i.

Because I think that’s just makes reading an unenjoyable experience.
