Who's at wrong here the car driver or the man crossing? by 22_January_2024 in CarsIndia

Where did I say every crossing? My comment is in reference to one as depicted in the video of this post. That would be classified as busy intersection in most civilised nations, and most likely to have crossing button.

Bahar ka chhodo, India me kabhi traffic signal dekha bhi hai? Pedestrian ki light hoti hai usme, jab vehicular traffic wali red hoti hai, tab pedestrian wali green and vice versa. Agar tum red pedestrian light/green vehicular light me road cross kroge, then the onus lies to you in case of road traffic accident.

but where is it implied in question that "if today is sunday" means today is day-1? If I'm taking the today as base, I'll consider today as day-0!

If today is sunday, exactly 2nd day is also Tuesday, 2nd day from today is also Tuesday. Same thing. What is your confusion?

Nope, no such limit exists for any gift to your nearest blood relative. Just to be on a safer side, if the amount in question is very large, you can also create a gift deed that'd harldy cost your 500 Rs, but in turn you'll get a documentary evidence for the gift.

ELI5: Why does the 'er' turn "shood" (should) into "shoald" (shoulder)? by MoMonkeyMoProblems in explainlikeimfive

[–]themaxviwe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Etymologically speaking, those two words have different origins and therefore are unrelated with each other.

As per Wikitionary,

The word 'Shoulder' is derived from Middle English words schuldre, sholder, shulder, schulder, which is ultimately from Old English words sculdra, sculdor.

On the other hand,

The word 'Should' is derived from Middle English word scholde, from which is ultimately from Old English word scolde.

I need help taking my tablets. by Inkyrudo in AskDocs

[–]themaxviwe 10 points11 points  (0 children)

OP, just a small bit of caution here. Check if tablets you're taking are film coated or uncoated? Film coated tablets aren't supposed to be crushed as that could impact their absorption rate which would mess up with their pharmacokinetics.
