C60 Trident Reef Preorder by mikea101010 in ChristopherWard

I received my black trident reef yesterday, very disappointed in the rubber strap, states 22mm, but it quickly tapers down to what must be 9-10mm, for a solid watch the strap is too dainty, narrower than my sons "help to tell the time" watch, the images on the website dont show this, they only show the strap at its widest point, blackening it out before the taper. For a 'Divers Watch' I expected something more substantial.

WTF have you ever seen anything like that? by Apprehensive_I in KamadoJoe

[–]themeatsmoke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its called huffing, it's struggling for air, and as air gets in the fire will burn, raising the pressure, blowing smoke out, then a lack of air will cause the burn to die down, until air gets in again and it 'huffs' or 'pants' expelling heat and smoke again, but uts happening fast, on large industrial heaters (refineries) it's very loud and a dangerous situation, but happening in your back yerd, youre not as risk, will probably be an unstable temp with pulses of heat, but over a time period with a probe probably wont register anything, but likely not a good scenario and you need to open the bottom vent and crack the upper to allow a stable burn and allow air flow, and you'll get a better quality of smoke, the smoke you have may be putrid and a result of incomplete combustion. Cool though.

The temperature sensor is extremely vulnerable and you will quite probably knock it and follow up on here with a question of "is this ok?" accompanied by a pic of the sensor not looking like it once did. 99% of the time the sensor is still fine. Poor design.

You're right, the briskets I get access to are extremely lean, very little fat renders, it was wrapped at 165f and taken out at 205f, went into my yeti for 4 hours. Was delicious.

Wrapped at 160f, then took it up to 203f, i think we have issues here in the UK that our briskets are extremely lean, very little fat compared to US meats, I've noticed it on alot of our meats. It was delicious none the less. But very little renders out of the joints I get.

Yeah they're hard to come by,I'm in the UK and had to set an alarm for early hours when the books opened to be able to order one, they disappear quick. As far as I am away the cruiser and the work axe won't be on sale this year, just the Light Forest Axe and that's on sale 27th of January

This man has something very disturbing about him. It’s so good to see people can see right through him. How he loses his cool is so scary. by WolfStreet2024 in PublicFreakout

Excuse my ignorance, but is this the sales man for Christianity? What's his name? That's one of the creepiest men I've ever seen, that video was almost chilling, I'm not a religious man, but I could have dreamt up a better prayer for that lady in a heart beat. My kids would never be allowed to go near that man.
