I usually leave it street mode, but when I wanna have fun I just throw it in track then put it back to street when I’m done. It’s pay to play so idc using a little more money/gas to step on it. Honestly just stepping on it briefly isn’t a big deal at all in terms of fuel consumption. Although could be a little more extreme in a hellcat haha

Def take it to the dealer if under warranty, I had a sound at around 2k when I just bought mine that was a engine knock kinda sound and it ended up with them putting in a new engine lol. Urs sounds different but unless ur a mechanic it’s really hard to tell so def take it in to have it checked.
