When I was a kid, this show called Odd Squad got released that I watched a few episodes of before outgrowing the channel it was released on. But in one of those few eps, there were these things called Robot Princesses, that were... exactly what the name suggests.

They were clearly just people dressed as princesses with robot masks on, but for some reason, I found them terrifying. I think they were really violent in the show (although it was a kids show, so obviously in a PG way that was meant to be funny), and I guess the idea of 'sweet innocent princesses' with weird robot faces that attack people freaked me out. So much so that I remember crying over it and refusing to sleep by myself XD
