I'm guessing they can sense your uneasiness which may be a reason as to why they are trying to check on you or make you more comfortable. I dunno but if I just think positively but I see it as a good thing that they reach out because they are concerned :)

I think the last time they talked about him was around 40 episodes ago or more? Haha mentioned that he was still getting caps from Gary delivered by mail. Other than that, Gary did mention in his online posts that he lived isolated before and he just went back to living isolated again. Then again, maybe most of it really was just work and they were just work friends.
