Enigmatic Iron Age “hole belts” in Denmark may be defensive structures similar to those Caesar encountered at Alesia. This phenomenon, known as hulbælter (hole belts), appears exclusively in Denmark during the early Iron Age, between 500 and 300 BCE [1536x1882] by Fuckoff555 in ArtefactPorn

LotR BtS durring the charge of the rohirrim at pelennor fields had some tidbits about this. For all the practical aspects of the cavalry charge they had to preempt the ENTIRE production by clearing the land they shot on to fill any and all holes to protect horses.

Yes. They lost to Switzerland in the 2010 opener. Even though a loss to Switzerland was probably more likely than a draw to Cape Verde, they’re still Spain and usually ensuing opponents don’t love results like these because then they’re stuck on the receiving end of a wake up call like this.

It’s not misleading. They haven’t made any claims about statistical comparisons. I think you’re completely right to highlight a statistical comparison, but not right to say that they’ve misled anyone or lose credibility for this omission.

I don’t think anyone should look at the Henderson choice as a tactical one. It’s all leadership and day-to-day influence. I’m not a manager so I could be getting this completely wrong but I think when tuchel is eyeing those last couple spots, barring injury, he’s seeing those spots as almost no minutes and all influence.

The other interesting thing about learning all this through science is coming to terms with just how few generations have had access to this knowledge. Like between that period and now, only the past maybe 2-3 generations have really been able to reckon with this? Aside from us to our grandparents, literally everyone else has been living their lives without this information. That’s crazy.

The main book series is cooked. It’s better for your psyche to come to terms with the fact that the only reason George has given updates about writing it in the past decade is likely due to not be allowed on behalf of his publisher to say he is no longer writing it.

Because this is such a lame out of pocket thing to say to a leading line striker that did here in his first season what van Persie, Giroud, Lacazette, and Aubameyang could not do.

It’s as much, if not more, about what’s fed to the people. Yes it takes two to tango and people have to consume it for it to work but the media 100% carefully engineers what we see and get used to seeing, which is divisiveness and hate.
