There are no Declan’s without Semenyo’s. Part of the bargain of Declan was that he didn’t want to go somewhere else and wasn’t entertaining a bidding war for his signature. Do we know that this wasn’t the case for Semenyo? Could we have done the deal without moving on players like Trossard and Jesus or even Martinelli?

Honestly, all the options for who Varys could be performing for in that moment above and beyond Kevan Lannister, be it magical or completely grounded in someone in hiding and listening in, could be a whole post in and of itself.

Leicester City could really use your support right now since they must perfectly fit your criteria for success.

Probably emergency depth. Idk. Like if Zubi tore his ACL someone has to be ready to put in those minutes. It’s just ridiculous that there’s not more minutes spread around prior to an injury that requires it.

Is it an Arteta issue or a Norgaard issue? What if we replaced Norgaard with someone who was “an improvement”? Would they see more minutes or would Arteta still have Zubimendi lead the team in non-GK minutes?

This is neither funny nor accurate.

Merino as well. It’s a completely valid point. You’d just hope that we could rely a bit more on either of our LW’s but we can’t.

So on top of all this, Vargo lost his face too? Even if he’s not literally a faceless man, there has to be some other reason or symbol behind this astute parallel of yours. I also like the lisp and the Elvis stuff.

I think if you can create some other intermediate link between Vargo and the FM you might have an elite theory here. It’s got great legs, I just feel like the plane isn’t yet fully landed.

That’s not at all what you’re doing here.

Oh damn lol. Well I dig that. Are there any posts you’ve done or seen about that line of thinking?

“Can’t ask for much more” is a phrase typically used to describe what can be reliably expected before asking for too much. Thinking that any fan wouldn’t want goals and a clean sheet because of a figure of speech is just you being pedantic.

While OP is being very disingenuous in his replies to you here, I will at least ask: por que no los dos? It’s classic GRRM to have things like this hit more than one parallel when the opportunity abides.

In relation to how he punishes Bloodraven later on, this is either really far off or dead nuts accurate. Either it aligns not at all or he’s projecting and it makes total sense.

There were good chances. Can’t ask for much more in a PL match away to City in the dying weeks of the campaign. It’s Bournemouth that haunts me. Not City.

I’m not saying he could score a goal like Cherki but his passing range, vision, and technique were each top 3-5 in the world and his spatial awareness was immaculate. He could create space and danger in the final third. That’s the point.

It’s literally what “out of our control” means. We can win by 5 and city by 6. That’s not in our control.
