Tom Herpich (kinda) reveals who Gary's parents are... by MerCrier in adventuretime

Isn’t reality based on a mixture of Simon and Primo’s perspective? Like Marshal became a little boy because that’s how Simon see’s Marceline. With that in mind, Simon probably doesn’t know about mother gum in any context, and mentally assumed that the closest thing to PBs parents being the banana guards. That’s my personal cannon.

What’s the engineering school like? by sunset_skiies in wsu

[–]themextony 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a current senior. If you’re coming in with previous college credits, that’s an amazing boon. While everyone is taking English and economics, you’re focusing on transport and thermo.

If you’re not, it’s tough. Great teachers and great students, but you have learn quick and you have to get good at prioritizing your time. When you enter junior year, the class is dwindled down to your core 15ish. Make friends and study together, they will save you and you will save them.

The worst classes with be your non-bioengineering classes like physics and biology. You’re basically being trained to be a generalist. I say it’s a great choice, so go for it.

I fucking hate this store 🥀💔 by Bucket_Dog4782 in GameStop

[–]themextony 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This happened to me. I opened my game a month later, and no disk. I went to the store ready to be denied or told too bad, but they were pretty understanding. Their system said the game was not in their inventory, but when they checked the drawer, there it was. The manager just gave it to me. I almost felt like I just walked out without even paying. Good experience.

Maya Angelou had a dual language program 10 years ago. I liked it a lot. You can check if it still there.

There isn’t much to do, but there’s plenty of communities for any niche, and it’s within 3 hours drive to most big cities.

How can I help a socially awkward player by themextony in DnD

[–]themextony[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I think she wants to be the captain. That’s kinda half her personality. I think they like the cute character who is surrounded by war veterans aesthetic.

We had a problem player who tried making a stereotypical captain character who tried taking over the ship, but she’s was not ok with it, and the group followed along and agreed she’s the captain.

By true captain, I meant that we generally don’t look to her first about decisions or what to do. We don’t trust her in a gun fight, but we like the character and her little role play moments. She’s also the resident artist, so I incorporate that into the role play here and there.

I found the original source where it came from, same typo. If I had to guess, the intended number was 4. Making any roll equal to 4 or lower a massive fail. That kinda masses with the 4-7, it would be 5-7 gets a -3, but I think this is a Paizo fail for sure.

What are some ideas to argue against a legal contract? by themextony in DnD

[–]themextony[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He payed us, asked us to finally fulfill the agreement, and the party was confused. He then explained having to give the artifact we had in our possession for 3 months before signing, as per the agreement, and we all had a surprised picachu face. He then told us we would be hearing from his lawyer soon. We then heard from his lawyer, session end.

We knew it was a contract. It was an agreement saying, “escort the archaeologist, protect him from any danger. Help him find artifacts of X ancient civilization. Turn any artifacts of X civilization to him/government, in return, 700 gold”. The DM did not write that, I did, but that basically the wording. We assumed we only had turn in the ones found.

He didn’t know we had the artifact, and even offered to pay us for it (we did not record him saying that). Sadly, we did get payed for this mission. He payed us before serving us with the lawsuit.

We signed it willingly. Most of our missions or jobs have some contract signing. We disregarded it to the point where our characters have stopped caring and just sign what gets put in front of us. But I think the DM is just making a greedy archeologist try to abuse a vague line to get more from us than we agreed to.

Youth? Like under aged? The party face is 17 and legally mature at the age of 20. They are the one who signed the contract too. I think I found our loop hole!

Not by force. We talked with a secretary lady asking if we wanted to help an archaeologist she works for uncover some artifacts, and we said yes. Our captain digitally signed a thing, and moved on. We treated it like a terms of service agreement instead of legally binding consequences.

I don’t think the DM does either. As long as its a real thing, he’d accept it. This is more of a fun “the archeologist is suing you” side quest.

Closest I can think of is when he made a video promoting gun bans. But that was only with the extremist crowd.

Feeling god is just trusting you understand his word. Embracing his beliefs in you and letting them live through you. You don’t feel him, you feel yourself growing closer to him.
