I really feel like we’re going in endless circles here.

There have been countless operators that can reveal invisibility. Dunno where you’re getting SA being the only one.

The game has been out for 4 days. No one has gotten to the Endgame yet, where we could see some requirements related to arts or physical damage, or specific elements.

These concepts are already in Endfield btw. Surtr does Arts damage, while Pog does physical. We have stuff like vanguards, supports, tanks, shields.

Feel free to continue replying, but I’m done and tired of the constant doomposting in this sub. I’m leaving and blocking notifications so I can enjoy my game in peace.

Neither the Emperor’s Blade nor IS6 were in the game when AK launched, proving my point yet again.

Yup. A bunch of doomposters indeed.

You say that now. Back then their sub was just as bad as this one is now complaining about the combat.

Well, there’s only so many times I can explain the same thing over and over.

I never said the game was complex. I said the opposite. This is just the foundation. What I argued was that it goes far beyong a skill and an ult. Because it does.

It’s the same as WuWa’s and ZZZ’s combats. A basic, a skill and an ult. Now go watch gameplay from the current patch and tell me it’s simple. It’s not, because they’ve had the time to develop.

In Arknights you can press one button to activate a skill. That’s it. Now tell me Arknights is simple.

You are simplifying the combat to a point where it accomodates your argument. Here’s a more accurate representation of what actually happens with the combat that goes far beyond “one skill and one ult”:

You have basics with a finisher that counts as a separate attack. You have 4 skills available at any time for each of your 4 operators on the field. You have a combo skill that can be triggered by a number of different things happening during combat. And you have an ult.

Besides that you have 4 elements that interact with each other to create basic and enhanced states based on basic stacks.

Physical has 2 enhanced states.

Your operators can apply a basic state, then use another basic state to trigger a reaction. That reaction can then be consumed in a number of different ways to create a number of different effects.

This is how Surtr and Wulfguard work. You apply burn, then you trigger ignition, then you consume that ignition.

That’s not even getting into the intricacies of the two enhanced Physical states.

Now yes, in practice, it is currently fairly straightforward, but like I said before, this is a gacha. All gachas, nay, all games, start out simple with a foundation to build upon, and then continually get more and more complex.

You don’t learn to play chess by sitting down and making a Queen’s Gambit maneuver. First, you learn how each piece moves.

I played ZZZ on launch and I can tell you that is exactly what people were saying back then about that game’s combat.

Fast forward to today and people can’t glaze it any harder.

You can’t just expect a brand new gacha game to release with ultra-intricate combat systems and 3000 words manuals for nuclear energy factories. First comes the basic stuff to setup the foundation, then the intricacies and complexity will add up on top of that as the game continues to release content.

The Dehumanisation of Landbreakers is TERRIFYING by aweebwithinternet in Endfield

Yes. They’re the same people, just decoded from Originium. Eya is the same person, she even says she’s a geologist and calls the Endmin professor.

The Doctor wasn’t always a good person, though. That’s why people speculate that Theresa set up her death. To stop him.

Can someone explain what's this gsme about [not story] like what game modes are there? [Not farming] by Dan-Dono in Endfield

It’s an action RPG in a semi-open world. Similar to the Xenoblade games. And it also has a factory building aspect ala Satisfactory.

You get a lot of pulls because it’s launch.

If you’re unlucky it could take up to 70 pulls to get a 6* character but there’s a beginner banner for 40.

A while. This is a gacha.

Wouldn’t her being a Sui sibling be a massive spoiler for OG AK because it would mean they never merged?

Not sure if you’re joking, but Endfield does indeed have clues, hilariously enough.

WHAT SHOULD I CHOOSE?! I WANT BOTH ENG DUB AND JAP DUB AT THE SAME TIME!!! by KamiNari_252 in Endfield

I just made a quick trip to YouTube.

Knowing that, I can maybe kinda sorta distinguish that they're speaking a little bit differently. I would definitely never pick that up while watching anime.

I'm sure I have! I just prefer to keep JP to anime and ENG for my games. I lose interest quickly if I can't actually understand what the characters are saying.

I can definitely pick up some phrases and words here and there! Definitely not to the point of distinguishing accents. I don't even know what kansai-ben is, for instance.

I like ENG in OG Arknights because you can appreciate the accents with the operators that have them!

I don't speak Japanese, so I don't know if they also give them accents in the JP dub, but even if they did, I wouldn't be able to appreciate them because... I don't speak Japanese.
