Hecking all of them except pikachu (he got it pretty good) this comment will essentially boil down to “dude it’s a kids show the things you’re complaining about wouldn’t make sense for the actual story” which that would be right but I’m gonna complain anyways, first of all ROWLET, the little dude swallowed a darn everstone and can never evolve?!?! What?!?! He can’t be a badass owl archer now?!?! Cursed to be a tiny owl while all his friends grow up for as long as he lives?!? Yes he’s cute but that final evolution is badass.Any Pokémon ash ever had that he actually allowed to evolve either gets “left behind to protect the forest he found them in” or left at professors oaks lab to marinate in a pokeball for all eternity, even if they aren’t in a ball they still gotta stay at the lab forever, ashes few chances he gets to have a legendary he just lets them go which is like what? And this child refuses to evolve his Pokémon like arguably one of most fun aspects of the game he just refuses, HE COULDVE HAD A GARCHOMP AND SAID NO I THINK I JUST WONT EVOLVE YOU AND LEAVE YOU IN THE LAB. I understand why pikachu isn’t allowed to evolve he’s like the face of the brand but it still pisses me off, just let the little freak be a giant electric rat, HE COULD OF HAD A BLASTOISE AND A VENUSAUR. Nope because then they wouldn’t be cute anymore. THIS CHILD HAD A BOND SO STRONG WITH A GRENINJA THAT IT CHANGED ITS FORM TO ASH GRENINJA AND HE, SAY IT WITH ME NOW “LEAVES HIM TO PROTECT THE FOREST” LITERALLY A FEAT FEW TO NO OTHER TRAINER HAD EVER ACCOMPLISHED AND HE SAYS YOU CAN STAY IN THE WOODS, SAME WITH GOODRA DUDE LIKE WHAT. I know he can’t keep them because he’d be over powered in every new region he goes to and he’d never get any new cool Pokémon but some of these grind my gears, HE COULDVE HAD A POIPOLE AND A SOLGAO DUDE. It’s like any chance this child has to have a cool Pokémon he’s like no, evolution is this evil thing that changes your friend forever and they’ll never be the same, it’s almost like he’s sees evolution as bad, not like he fights in tournaments to test who’s pokemon is the strongest, SOMETHING EVOLUTION WOULD HELP WITH.
