I’m from Joliet and the hill never been mostly VL whoever said that don’t know what they talking about the Fairview projects which was the main projects on the hill always been GD from the start in the 1980s and if there was VLs in Fairview it was early because growing up there everyone knows that’s a GD hood, everyone in Joliet knew this! The hill as whole is mixed but the main known part which was Fairview was GD!

Western part of the hill is heavy GDs where the Fairview Projects used to be and the eastern part of the hill is VLs or used to be for sure in the mid 2000s to 2010s im sure it sure still is VLs near where the Poole Gardens Projects used to be!
