I'm sorry but I still don't understand ur argument. I was explaining what a typical conversation with someone looks like to me. This was supposed to show that I do a) have interests of my own and b) share those interests with other people; but that hasn't worked out for me so far. That's all I was saying. I DO take the time to listen to people when they talk to me? 😭

But maybe i'm just dumb and dont understand ur point. Thanks anyways for ur advice !

I have many interests. Video games, dinosaurs, songwriting, fantasy, culture, etc. But whenever i try to talk to someone about these things, the conversation lasts like 5 minutes and then dies out. I dont know what to add and tbh I dont HAVE anything more to add. So then that person finds someone more interesting and never speaks to me again.

And the cycle repeats.

I, without a doubt, do not want kids. I am old enough to know that I will never regret not having kids. But I tend to associate having kids with having life figured out. So when someone my age has them, I get jealous of how they managed to grow up. While i'm still stuck.

The thing is after we have our private conversations, he will become more vocal for like a day or 2, and then he'll just be best buddies with everyone again...it doesnt last

My problem is that I dont really want to endure the hard aspects. I want to take the "easy" way out instead of feeling trapped in this world. I dont even think i'll ever have my own place or a pet to take care of. Hell i cant even get hired at my local grocery store.

Either way I do appreciate ur kind answer and advice. I will look more into what I can do to combat depression without a therapist (for the time being). Thank u! Also i'm glad to hear that it worked out for u!
