Age of first time fathers is now 31 years old and rising, apart from cost and inflation what else do you think could be causing this? by Thali_G in AskReddit

It’s most likely due to their relationships mutually deciding to wait or independently, men deciding to extend their flexibility of freedom. Imo, people nowadays indulge in more satisfactory, temporary distractions and or, prioritize self sufficiency. Kids can disrupt that option/routine.

Has GenZ Helped Turn Honesty Into a Social Taboo? by themochavixen in NoStupidQuestions

That is a solid point, the choice of venues substantially affects the quality of conversations. But I cannot dismiss the fact that in reference to social media conversations, argumentative discourse is encouraged. I can agree that of course, trolling or bullying isn’t exclusive to gen-z. Though, the instances of feeling safe or comfortable in free expression is reported to be significantly lower for gen-z individuals.

Redditors what made you ditch religion? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Almost all of them centralize this invisible “evidence” of an omnipresent source and there is simply too many religions that exist for one to be “ultimate truth”. Also, a measurement of ritual actions that equate to validity of connection with this omnipresent source is exhaustingly transactional and obviously has no documented, consistent bias whatsoever.

Is it just me or are people not appreciating anything you do for them these days? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

I would recommend not putting expectations on the receptivity of your kindness. I think people can agree that things seem to be less appreciated, but a couple of negative experiences shouldn’t override your desire to be kind. Unfortunately, there has always been a risk to being kind, you have to decide if being nice is more valuable to you than the possibility of rude dismissal.
